Ellerbe Fine Foods
This is a small place in a house. Very well managed, Valet parking overcomes any difficulty in parking. The cuisine is very gourmet with a Louisiana taste. The total entree of available options was very unique and impressive.
The service is outstanding. They are professional yet friendly and efficient.
Highly recommend this fine dining restaurant.
Great restaurant. Service was wonderful as always.
Our frost - we live in Dallas. We were delighted.
Had waited to eat here for 3+ years bc we are not in the area. Only time we are there is when I would have appointments to keep and the restaurant was closed the days we visited. So it was very nice and we just loved it!
Great overall experience, and will gladly return.
Loved the restaurant. The staff was great.
We started with the soup and shrimp - both great.
We had salmon and pork chop. ok. not great. thought the sauce was too sweet and the eggplant wasn't cooked on the pork.
ice cream was great.
the little cookies at the end were amazing.
The food was fabulous, creative ingredients with tons of flavor. The lamb and bread pudding were both incredible. Classy but laid back atmosphere. Clean and inviting. Unfortunately, no mixed drinks but they do offer an extensive wine selection. The server was friendly but did have A few mishaps. Overall, definitely one of our new favorite Fort Worth stops.
Food was fabulous and Scott our waiter was fabulous!! Highly recommend!
We liked it! Food was pretty good and service was awesome
Our service was fantastic, as well as the beautiful atmosphere. The food was a foodie dream - in all aspects. Love Ellerbe's.
Everything is just better at Ellerbe -- the salads, the entrees, the desserts, and the staff. They mix so many interesting flavors that I would never have guessed go well together, and the end result is always outstanding. I like that the menu changes frequently, too, so there's always something new to try. Our servers are always personable and terrific. This is our favorite restaurant (and the one we chose for our 30th anniversary dinner last night)!
Lede is an excellent server. Appreciate Richard stopping by the table to assist with wine selections. Cushions on the chairs are a wonderful addition. Cooper River salmon and homemade ice cream. It might get any better!
Ellerbe never disappoints me. The food is amazing and the service is topnotch! The waiters know their food and wine which makes the whole experience fantastic!
Treating a friend who was in town.
Very nice special place for my Britt bday celebration ! Felt very special and the service was amazing and five star !
We went for my daughters birthday and loved every minute! The food was fabulous, the service was outstanding and the wine was on point! We will be back soon!
One of the finest meals I have had in Fort Worth. Great flavors!
Wonderful menu items! I really enjoy the variety that is offered each time that we visit. Scott is simply amazing! It was a most enjoyable evening with friends!
Salmon gooey in middle, asked for med flaky. Bones in filet. Filled water once after having to get his attention. Eggplant burnt taste. Told waiter did not respond or care.
Service and food were excellent. This is one of our go to restaurants when we want a great dining experience, but not a lot of fanfare. Very down to earth, but exceptional food and service.
We had eaten at Ellerbe’s a few times quite awhile ago. We decided to try it again for a special occasion. (Which happened to be on a Saturday night.) We knew it was pricey, but the food was good and it was a special occasion.
We were seated very near our reservation time at a nicely located table. Our waiter was very friendly and acknowledged our special occasion. He was knowledgeable about the menu. The quality of the food was excellent.
However…. The restaurant was extremely noisy. We didn’t even try to carry on a conversation. Our $14 tomato salad arrived quickly but even on a small plate the minuscule portion was lost. Our main course of salmon, while delicious, took an unacceptable length of time to arrive. (I don’t think we were being discriminated against. It appeared that everyone’s food was taking awhile.) Again, for the $38 price the portion was pretty small. The wine list, while huge, was mostly very expensive.
I wouldn’t say never to eat at Ellerbe’s. Just be aware that it is expensive for what get. And probably don’t come on Saturday.
Excellent food and outstanding service, as usual. However, on this first visit after the pandemic, the noise in the rear room bothered us quite a bit. There was a table of 8 next to us and I swear they were shouting at each other. The room has a concrete floor and the walls and ceiling are also hard surfaces so the noise level was uncomfortable. I would urge the management to install some sound absorbing materials on the walls and ceiling.
Incredible as always one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Worth
Great service with Trey! Food was so delicious! The bread pudding is outstanding! Wine was wonderful! Really great experience! Love dining here!
What a great "find" in Ft. Worth. The creativity and quality of the food was fabulous. They have a killer wine line with wines that I'd never expect to find there, e.g., Antica Terra, Aubert. I'll be back next trip to Ft. Worth.
Special dinner on Papa's 75th birthday. Everything was ideal. Thank you, Leddy, for your fine service.
Remarkably quaint restaurant with a great ambience. The menu is fresh and creative. The staff was very friendly and explained the items on the menu in detail due to the NOLA influence behind the flavor combinations which were unique. We all had different entrees.
The baseball cut, the filet, the lamb and the duck but the ending with MawMaw's Bread pudding was the best ever. The wine selection offered was a great list procured through careful thought. I would definitely recommend this as a "off the beaten path" place to explore.
Excellent in everywAy. Can’t wait to return. Best steak ever. Great wine selections, and you don’t have to spend a fortune but you could!! Friendly, knowledgeable waiter. I think my favorite Fort Worth restaurant.
My wife and I have been to Ellerbe many times and always leave impressed. The seasonal menu, the creative dishes, the outstanding service and ambiance, consistently make for a wonderful evening. Whether it’s a random night or a date night, we know what to expect with Ellerbe + team and that is that everything will be top notch.
Wonderful food, great service.
Food was excellent and was thrilled to have Scott as our server again. Hope to return again next year!
Love love love everything!
The perennial gem just keeps getting better. Chef Molly's imagination seems boundless and there is always a little surprise off the menu. The consistency of the quality of the food is wonderful. Richard's wine cellar and shop is unsurpassed in quality and value. He seems to be able to identify and acquire wines that can't be easily found elsewhere. The service is impeccable. Attentive, but not interruptive. I always look forward to a night out (or sometimes sumptuous lunch) at Ellerbe!
Scott is an awesome waiter! Appetizers were great, bread was delish, desert (Bread pudding) exquisite. Main meal for me was great I had duck but my husband’s not so good. His steak was almost raw as he ordered medium rare. Unless you like it red and bloody order medium. His salad was really good but his squash/cornbread dish was burnt. Not brown but black and crunchy. That surprised me for 2 reasons: this is supposed to be fine dining and I would NEVER serve something burnt to my guests. I don’t like to complain but I was expecting perfection from Ellerby’s especially at the prices they charge.
Ellerbe has limited menu with no room for alterations. Farm to table means they have specific amounts of food and run out of items pretty quickly. It's a darling atmosphere, but be willing to be flexible when ordering.
Interesting menu choices and excellent food quality and presentation. First class service. Especially liked that our server, Tre, did not clear away any plates until everyone had finished eating their course - having moved here from Europe 20 years ago this is probably the second time since then that we have experienced this. Consequently, no one felt rushed throughout the meal. Finally, the restaurant has a great ambience.
Richard and Molly run a fantastic establishment, one of the best meals in Texas!
Amazing food and celebration with our friends for their 30th wedding anniversary. Our waiter Nash was exceptional and made our experience unforgettable. The good was truly outstanding!
