Always a hit with our family. Can't miss the maw maw's bread pudding. The dessert list right now is fantastic. i had the duck confit biscuits and salad for lunch - ridiculously good. Everyone went away happy, again.

What a great experience. Our server, Dave, was incredible. He completely understood the menu selections and explained them perfectly. Dave answered questions and gave thoughtful recommendations after attentive listening to our likes and restrictions. He gave just the right amount of attention to ensure we enjoyed our meal.
Our guests from California are sophisticated diners (and a little particular). They raved about the food for the next two days. We, too, are fortunate to have dined in many wonderful restaurants. Ellerbee's can hold its own against these.
The pork chop is the best both gentlemen say they have every had. The scallops were tender and expertly presented.
Absolutely treat yourself to the wonderful homemade mint ice cream (from their garden).
A great dining experience for a special occasion but casual enough for even an impromptu night out.

Eating at Ellerbees is like your grandmother all of s sudden becoming a gourmet chef (credit to Chef Molly). Everything is “of the moment” fresh, and the flavor profiles are inspiring. The servers, like Scott & Jose are very knowledgeable about every ingredient in the food, but can also point you to a great wine pairing. The owner Richard is an impressive oenophile, and makes sure every guest is having a great experience. Great for both special occasion and everyday. A Fort Worth treasure.

Ellerbe is always delicious with a wonderful atmosphere. Waiters are friendly and knowledgeable about all menu items as well as how they pair with wines. They are never overbearing, but always there to answer me he questions. Best fine dining in Fort Worth hands down.

Ellerbe’s is always so fresh and consistent. We love how fresh and seasonal the food is, every time we go. Their desserts are made in-house and are totally worth trying. The salads are always crisp and cold. The atmosphere is nice, it with a casual, unstuffy feel.

We loved the cheese and meat board instead of salad.

Pork and main entree's were worth the 5 star rating.

Service was spot on.

We had reservations and didn't have to wait and that's a pet peeve of mine. Why wait 30+ minutes for a table you reserved?

Would have like to try the desserts but we were too full.

One of the best dining experiences in DFW.

The food was good it seems the quality has slipped some and the noise level was high. We where very disappointed in being rushed out. We had just received our dessert menu ( we had the menu maybe two minutes ) and before we had a chance to decide what we wanted, a manger dropped our bill on our table and walked off. It was shockingly rude, we have never experienced such odd behavior.. the restaurant was not full... and it was only 8:30. I don’t think we will return, this used to be one of our favorites but tonight changed our mind.

From the moment you walk in, you know you're in for something good. From the genuinely welcoming hostess to the, "Thank you for coming in tonight", Ellerbe Fine Foods does not disappoint. The food and especially the service was excellent. If you're in the Southside neighborhood of Fort Worth, do yourself a favor and make a reservation.

Stated on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. Been a while since we’ve been there, but surprised at all the t-shirts and jeans. Very casual. We were seated by the door to the patio and every time someone came through the door they brushed against my wife. We asked to be seated elsewhere and our waiter got us another table. He was a great waiter and our meals were very good. As per our Open Table reservation, nothing was mentioned about any special day. I’d have to put the blame on management. Not sure if I’ll go back. There are too many other restaurants that pay attention to detail.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit. They have some unique food items, but not weird. They, also, ahave food items for someone who just want regular food. Their bread pudding is amazing! Our waiter, Juan( I think that was his name), was attentive but not intrusive - perfect!

This was not my first trip to Ellerbe's, nor will it be my last. I simply love this little restaurant. Chef Molly has a beautiful touch with her food, all ingredients are locally sourced within 50 miles so everything is fresh, fresh, fresh! The wine list is diverse and smart. Always great food, great ambience and so enjoyable. I love that the wait staff is all so educated about the food, its preparation and flavors, and able to pair a perfect wine to enhance those flavors. In short, you will not be disappointed should you venture inside. Prepare to be pleased.

4 of us at lunch Loved, Loved, Loved Ellerbe’s. Food delicious (especially the farm grown field greens and beet/orange salad). Chatty, but not too much, attentive service. We had only been there for dinner some time ago which we loved, but lunch was great too!
