The brunch here is absolutely amazing. The selection is wonderful and the flavor of the food is to die for. If you love brunch you have to try this restaurant.
The brunch is amazing! Lots of different choices to choose from. The service was great and the cleanliness was impeccable. Cant wait until we go back!
One of the Best Brunch menus I’ve experienced. Well done
My only complaint was that two unsupervised children (age 8 or so) were helping themselves to the build-your-own nacho bar, making contact with the chips, and subsequently with their faces inches from the smoke salmon trying to figure out what it was. As a parent I never allowed my children to serve themselves at a buffet. I’m not sure why these parents did but I will say that I passed on the nachos and smoked salmon. And I love smoked salmon. Otherwise, everything was as good as it always is.
The Wednesday through Friday night special was really great - 2 for 49.99 with a bottle of wine, 2 entrees and 2 desserts! The bottle of Pino Grigio was crisp and refreshing. We added a Greek salad to our dinner special and that was enough to share; it was scrumptious with its huge chunks of feta cheese, romaine, tomatoes, onions, black olives, cucumbers, roasted red peppers, the ketchup gravy may have been a bit too potent for his taste. Desserts of cheesecake and a flourless chocolate torte were sweet and savory!
Food/ambience - all were fabulous.
I would recommend this for a special occasion.
Brunch has changed from what they used to do and the changes aren’t good! Really disappointed!
Great Bloody Mary’s and mimosas, food was real good as well. The desserts could’ve been alittle better though to go with the great food!
Valentines Day with an early reservation we were sat in a new add on section with no heating (they tried space heaters, too small and room was freezing. Cheese plate was ok, three medium size crackers to pair. Entrees were absolutely terrible- chicken in pink vodka cream sauce- first off the chicken was not sautéed it was grilled - never seen that anywhere. Bland. Sauce had no seasoning, was not at all a true vodka sauce and no creamy texture at all. Pasta too soft and unseasoned. Server was nice guy, tried hard but clueless. Management here needs to be questioned.
Good food and great service
We are always pleased when we come to 1149, never have been disappointed. Service is always top notch.
The Winter Blues deals is a super value, food was delicious. The only thing was I felt rushed my reservations was at 6 home by 7. I felt rushed, I prefer a relaxed dining evening out
Wonderful food and service
We love the brunch at Eleven Forty Nine. It never disappoints and has so many options. It's family friendly and a great time. The setup is wonderful and they provide great service. I always get the unlimited mimosas too!
I’d rather have the omelet station so they cook it right there. Everything was good but three at our table got scrambled eggs. They wished they knew how much was in each order because they could have split one. Wasteful. The choices were good but not worth the price for our group, we don’t eat much. Thanks.
We had a very enjoyable dinner and met some very nice people while dining. We certainly enjoyed the food and the professional service from the waitstaff especially, Michelle, our waitress. We were impressed with the portions of our dinners and above all; we most happy about the taste. We will go back again, for sure.
Great Food, Drinks and Service. Made a reservation on Open Table, Walked in and sat right down.
We visited during the Winter Blues special. Excellent value, bottle of house wine, dinner and dessert. Wine was nice. Dinner and dessert were excellent.
Scallops were outstanding. Meatloaf was subpar, actually disappointing. We also were in and out of there in 40 minutes , served our dinners 5 mins after ordering. Weird for a busy , fancy place. Bar looked nice!
Restaurant week
Sat at the bar for a pre-dinner cocktail. Martini was perfect. Decided to sit in bar area at booth for dinner. Our Bartender/Server Joe was great. Let us sample the wine before ordering. Gave us ample time to review the menu. Made good recommendations. We all ordered from the Providence Restaurant week menu for dinner. Portions and quality of food and presentation were excellent. 1149 makes for a great night out. Food is always consistent and service is strong.
Spend some special lunch time with my wife.
The Sunday brunch is excellent!
best buffet in town selection is great and quality is A+
This was my second visit. Food has been sub par on both occasions. Had a filet mignon last time and it was tough and not cooked to order. Tonight I had I pinboard and the scollops were almost surely fish. My daughter had the filet mignon and again it was of poor quality and not cooked to order.
The server disappeared for long periods. We had to ask other servers for refills on our water etc.
The atmosphere is very nice. The restaurant looks very nice. The food and service are poorly executed.
Very disappointed.
While 1149 has SOME great food like the short rib I had - the vegetables that came with it clearly came out of bag from the freezer section at stop and shop. Staff was nice and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. It was snowing and they hadn’t cleaned their wAlkway
The food and the service was good but we were very rushed. Dinner 2 drinks and dessert all in 50 minutes and we had no place to go.
It was very crowded, so the noise level was high. Food was awesome. Our waitress Courtney was fantastic.
We had great seats and the food was wonderful It was a wonderful New Year’s Eve
I would NOT recommend this restaurant!. New Year's Eve dinner; not overly busy restaurant at 7pm, considering it was New years eve; POOR service- waitress was nowhere to be found when I discovered my food was under-cooked; my "bring-back" still under-cooked (didn't look any different); Got boxed up cause everyone else was done eating by the time the waitress came to table. I told the manager, who was standing at the reception desk as I as leaving, that I was leaving hungry and frustrated!! He did not seem to care.
Itvwas excellent service!!!
Excellent dining experience as usual. Our server Kristen was courteous an extremely pleasant.
I was not impressed with the brunch set up. The lay out of the food made it difficult to navigate the different stations. The desserts were not very good. You have to order eggs. Since they are made to order I expected they would be hot, however that was not the case. Our server was very nice. I would probably not go to this brunch again.
The service provided by Sabrina for our anniversary dinner was outstanding! She made excellent recommendations, and the food was outstanding. We’ll be back!
Food and service was very good, but it was very odd that bread/rolls were not available
Christmas Eve buffet was excellent!
Delicious luncheon with friends. Perfect way to celebrate the holiday season. Everything was great.
Rachelle was our server / superb service! We all ordered the Short rib Shepherd Pie - it was yummy!
Excellent dining experience as usual. Service was additionally exceptional.
Best brunch in RI: excellent food, a wide selection, easy highway access and helpful wait staff
