Brought a tequila lover from WPB who was thrilled with the tequila flights!! So much so that she brought her daughter the next night!
El Camino is definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants in Palm Beach County. Food is always fresh & delicious. Great rotaters on tap and tasty margaritas. Great place to share with family and friends. Looking forward to my next visit.
Very good staff and customer experience all around, the vibe is also very nice for a get together with friends.
Meal starts off with warm chips and heavenly salsas- one red one green, both excellent. Then, I had the smoked pineapple margarita, and it was so delicious with the mezcal. I only had one but wanted more!!! I finished with the kale salad with a yummy grilled chicken, which they managed to make very flavorful and unique. my friends very much enjoyed their burritos, fresh fish of the day, and tacos as well. We had some vegetarians and food allergies at the table and waiters were kind and attentive to detail. We will definitely go back!
The food is incredible as evidenced by the number of people who want to eat here. I've never had a bad meal here.
Our server stopped us from ordering a third appetizer because he said the portions were big. He was right.
So the food is great. The server did not try to up-charge us. The portions are generous. Though noisy, it adds to the ambiance. I highly recommend it for lunch or dinner.
Had drinks with a girlfriend on a Monday night. Drinks and chips were good as usual. However,I was double charged a tip and I called the restaurant to ask for the difference to be refunded and the manager was very dismissive as if I was some kind of peasant complaining about a $3 overcharge. It’s not about the $3— I left a cash tip, I shouldn’t have been double charged for the tip and I certainly shouldn’t have been dismissed over voicing my concerns. I’m incredibly disappointed by the lack of customer service from a restaurant I frequent often in person, and through delivery service.
My jersey girlfriends came to visit for the weekend
We were happy to get a reservation at the last minute to dine here. This restaurant is so busy, many times we are not able to get in: lots of young and young-at-heart folks crowding the bar for Happy Hour drinks and tapas. For those of us dining on the regular menu, prices are a little bit more than at many Mexican restaurants, but we feel it is worth it. We love the food. All the standards are there: tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, fajitas and more, but everything is freshly prepared to order and well seasoned. Plenty of choices for cocktails, wines and beers. Plus, the entertainment factor that comes with watching the passing crowd can't be beat!
The tacos were excellent as was the made to order guacamole. They customized margaritas that were perfect. Service was attentive and efficient.
Love this restaurant! El Camino is one of our favorites and it never disappoints. Great food, smart and friendly waiters and, of course, great Tequila!
We had so much fun at El Camino! The margaritas were awesome, the food very tasty and it's a fun, lively atmosphere. They have a great happy hour as well.
Food is always great, although the menu is somewhat limited....for instance, no tamales! What they do have is very good! Noisy, but lots of vibe! Looks like a good date/pick-up place. Bar was hopping!
Best Mexican in Florida. This place ROCKS !
Very good food as usual. Incredibly noisy ....... difficult to even hear the waitress speaking to the table. Overall enjoyable, but not if you intend to have discussion at the table.
Excellent food and service. VERY noisy to the point it was difficult to hear the people across and next to me.
We dined here when they first opened and we weren't overly impressed. I'm glad that we gave it a second chance. While we aren't drinkers, it seems like that have a wide range of drinks to choose from. Our service was great - very attentive wait staff. I would not go here without reservations - especially during season. We had the tamales, carnitas burrito with red sauce, and combo tacos - all very good. In comparing it with another local chain, I'd say they're equal. We will definitely be back.
Great service and food is always fantastic!
El Camino consistently provides the best Mexican cuisine available in Palm Beach County. Everything that I have ever sampled has been great. The chicken enchiladas are the best I have had anywhere. The service is attentive, and the margaritas are outstanding. My only complaint is that the noise level often makes conversation difficult. Overall, El Camino is a special restaurant worthy of a short detour.
Fantastic food and great service -- we are regulars and find that El Camino consistently delivers!
THE BEST brisket nachos & margaritas! Highly recommended for fun. Jimmy Buffet would approve, as would Zapata.
Creative menu with unique food combinations. Terrific house-made hot sauce. Tequila selection is typical but adequate, nothing out of the ordinary. Our server was attentive and friendly. It was difficult to have a conversation without shouting as it is always 3 deep at the bar and the table seating is very tight.
The food was amazing as usual the service was great. I always have enough food to split a meal and be stuffed or take some home for later. I highly recommend dining here
Chips were very salty (I’m sure to keep you thirsty for more tequila😜) but salsas and guacamole were delish!! Skirt steak tender and delicious!
Fun bar scene and good service!
The hostess, Sabrina, was fantastic. She cleaned and set at table for us herself. The margaritas were the best! Food was amazing. Our waiter could have been more attentive.
Margarita Monday’s all day! Great FRESH authentic food nothing run of the mill or chainy feeling. Maybe a tad loud but you get so lost in the food it’s hard to complain! Love love!
Excellent food. Monday is $3.00 margarita night and the drinks were very good. Server and manager were very attentive despite the huge crowd and went out of their way to make the evening enjoyable.
Very loud but good food and ambiance. Quick service
The food is AMAZING, the servers are great, and the managers are always on the floor. If you never tried El Camino you are missing out. The only thing is I didn't care for their desserts (I only tried two out of three). The nutella flan and the tres leches but I must say I'm not a big fan of flan and the leches was a BIG slice of cake. But after eating the amazing food you probably won't have room for dessert. This restaurant should definitely be ranked higher!!!!
Love that the servers know their tequila!
Try the brisket and the pork belly tacos. Not to be missed!
I reserved the table a week in advance and asked for a booth by the bar. I didn’t get it and had to pay full price for everything we ordered, including the drinks. Happy hour should be for the whole restaurant when your bar space is so limited and always crowded. Who can even eat tacos standing up with a drink in their hand?! I won’t be doing taco Tuesday there anymore because it really isn’t taco Tuesday if you are a working individual who can’t go physically reserve a seat well before 4pm 😑
Love it we go often
The food is always great but the noise level is very high. We eat here all the time and even though we indicated it was a birthday celebration, we didn’t feel too special.
Great experience...Fresh and flavorful generous portions. Super happy hour deals!
Food was outstanding, and a great location in Pineapple Grove. Unfortunately the restaurant is very loud and tables are pretty close together.
Love El Camino
This was my first visit and will be returning. Food was great, price was reasonable and the staff was superb
Julio was professional, fun, and engaging. He made several recos that were spot on. Food and margaritas were excellent as always.
The food is excellent every time I’ve been here
