   I was a frequent diner at Nightgown and loved everything about it except the food which was pedestrian. I was disappointed in its second iteration. But I am thrilled that the ambiance of Nightgown lives on in Edwin's but with MUCH better food. It's tastefully and beautifully decorated. Plan on going back again and again!

   Love Edwins! First time at new location. Much bigger than previous restaurant which may account for the 4 stars. The service was outstanding. Diondra was a delight. The first course was great. I got the lobster and my husband got the fois gras. The main courses were tasty but could have definitely been hotter. I got the sea bass and my husband got the veal. We enjoyed the desserts, bananas foster and creme burble, which by the way was outstanding. Will definitely go back. Keep up the good work.

   Service was a little disjointed as it was pretty busy and we had several people take orders, deliver our food and others bringing cocktails. Calamari app was good but my trout dish was cold and likely would have been a lot tastier if presented hot. Waiter told us the souffle would take long and when bartender cleared he said it was 20-30 minutes. Came out in 15-20 and wasn’t cooked through. Salads looked good as did burgers and my wife’s short rib was tasty but again served cold. Guessing we hit an off night.

   We had a really poor experience here . Our server was very disorganized and seemed very overwhelmed. It took 35 min to get drinks we ordered when we arrived. our appetizer came before our drinks and our dinner 2 minutes later. My husband ordered Boulliabase which was lukewarm when it arrived and served in a cereal sized bowl making it difficult to navigate no bowl was offered for empty shells ( would have asked but counting our server anywhere) I ordered the duck confit which was very good but the risotto served with it was like glue. People seemed to be scurrying everywhere but in a frenzied manner, the best thing about the night was the music which was great but not good enough to entice a return trip. It seems they might have bitten off too much with the size of the new place.

   Edwin’s never disappoints. The food was fantastic, the staff was top notch, and I love what Brandon has done with the space!

   We have dined at Edwin’s twice, each time sitting in the room facing the street. Each time the food was very good. We especially liked the Oysters Rockefeller. The first time the room was not too crowded and the dimensions seemed okay. The second time the room was crowded. The space between tables was very tight. The servers had a very difficult time delivering food to the guests. Despite their best efforts we were jostled at times. I think Brandon needs to reconfigure this room.

    We had dinner in the Brassiere and then moved to the bar in the back off the fine dining area where I great jazz band was playing. Michael our server was very attentive. I’m looking forward to going back again and again!
