You guys made my girlfriends birthday such an amazing experience, food was amazing and Kevin was a great waiter thanks for making her nite special
Truly a great experience. Though it was our servers first day, she did a great job. I was blown away by the quality of food as well as the menu. I honestly can't wait to come back.
A wonderful dining experience! We enjoyed delicious cheeses, entrees of fish and steak, and dessert too! Wine was great as well! Friendly and helpful staff and the environment was relaxed. Highly recommend!
Food as always was outstanding; we had scallops, snails, portobello Napoleon, and Ohio City pasta—all presented to look as delicious as they tasted!
Phenomenal experience and love that the owner employs former convicts. Food is delicious and service is on point.
Good restaurant with French cuisine. A bit noisy if you want a quiet affair. Excellent food. Excellent service from the staff, and they pay attention to detail.
Truly an excellent overall experience. Great staff and service.
My wife’s escargot was excellent and the French onion soup was very good. Her scallop dinner and my potatoe crusted grouper were excellent selections recommended by the staff.
Will be back again.
We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, upscale French but not pretentious menu, and attentive and courteous service from the staff. Added bonuses were a short, pleasant visit at our table by the owner, and the romantic, vintage R&B music selection that played softly throughout the evening. Perfect for a date night!
The food was outstanding! The atmosphere was fun, refined without being pretentious. Our server left much to be desired, but the food made up for it!
Always excellent!
It was Spanish Night with great food paired with very nice Spanish wines. Overall a superb night out and our first restaurant experience since COVID19 destroyed our social life. Here’s to many more!
In light of the service/training that your restaurant is providing, I cannot complain/whine. But in effort to help you in your training I offer that I am not sure that our waiter was able to read or write - making ordering of the wine somewhat laborious, and even after the waiter marked the menu with pen to take my wife’s entree order, she did not receive the entree that she ordered. Finally, there was at least a 45 minute wait between completion of appetizer and our entrees - fortunately we had good company and conversation. May well have been simply an ‘off’ night.
The seafood sausage was wonderful, as was the NY strip steak. My wife felt that the vegetable napoleon was undercooked..
This was such and excellent experience. DEfinitely a do over. The food was spectacular and the ambiance and the fell of the place was great, The only negative thing I would say was the lighting was a little dark... but that was such a small thing . Love love loved it!
Choice of background music was not in keeping with the type of restaurant
Delicious food and excellent service. Always had a full water and plenty of bread to start. Enjoyed the fresh cut Cheese options as an appetizer. Every dish was well prepared, unique, and delicious! We will definitely return for another date night.
Had just an amazing time, we were celebrating our anniversary and from start to finish it was perfect. The valet was friendly and parked our car right up front. When we walked into the dining room we were greeted by a friendly young gentleman who took our coats and showed us to our table. Right in front of the fireplace, the best seat in the house I’d say.
The server was quick to greet us and knew a lot about the the cocktails, they weren’t quite sure about the bourbon I asked for but the manager was there quick to provide an answer. In fact every time we needed something or had a question someone was there with a quick answer.
The food was outstanding, I had the lobster bisque and duck confit which was fall off the bone tender and my wife had the local green salad and scallops which she said were the best scallops she’d ever had. For dessert we shared the bananas fitter which was prepared tableside, what a treat.
This was our first time eating indoors in almost a year and they did a great job making us feel safe. Table were well spaced. Servers always had their masks on. Yet people were still friendly and it made for a great time. Can’t wait to go back and try edwins again!
We went for the first time two years ago. We were very impressed at the time. Especially with the service- every single person we encountered was professional and solicitous. This time, however:
Waited for valet
Waited for hostess
Waited awhile for bartender even though there was only two people at the bar
Waited half an hour beyond our reservation time
Waited for server to take our appetizer order and she never came back for our entree order until we were done with our appetizers. She didn’t seem well trained on the menu especially drinks.
I must say I didn’t think my main dish was a good value for what I got- a portabella mushroom with zucchini and squash for $20!!
I will compliment the gentleman who passed out the bread. He made sure to interact with us and gave us the one positive experience.
Ambiance-wise I would say that the music did not fit in with the atmosphere. I think it was geared maybe towards the people working in the restaurant as opposed to the guests dining there-too loud and needed a more laid back playlist.
It’s a shame- I had counted this as my favorite restaurant after my first visit but now I will probably not be back.
I’m going to recommend this restaurant because my first experience was so positive and any restaurant can have an off night.
As you walk in, there is a table covered with a few inches of dust, not a good first impression. The food was not worth the price you pay. My wife ordered the salmon with dill sauce and it looked like ground up cat food. She didn’t eat it. My horseradish salmon was raw in the center. The restaurant is listed in the top five of the best romantic restaurants in Cleveland but there’s nothing romantic about it’s ambience. I thought the music which was 80’s and 90’s pop (not really music for a romantic setting) was too loud. The service was slow and we heard two waiters complaining that they had no clue where their food orders were. We ordered dessert and I ordered mine to go. When I arrived home which was an hour away, I opened the dessert container and learned they had given me the wrong dessert. The only thing good about The experience was the banana foster which was excellent. Needless to say, we will not return
Out for dinner with another couple. Two of us had the grouper and two had the salmon. Both were excellent
The beets salad and soups were great too
Edwins is by far our favorite restaurant. The food and service are always outstanding. Plus, Edwins is a great cause. We'll worth the experience!
First time, very pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. We had the rabbit was excellent, polenta was ok and the scallop's were great as well.
5 star food and service AND mission driven business. Highly recommend.
Everything at Edwin's was excellent. We would highly recommend.
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Server was SO rude. Food was dry and way over cooked.
Amazing food and service!!
Food and drinks were just ok.. service not so good.
A varied and diverse menu. Service was a bit "off" on Saturday night.
Great dining experience.
Love the concept and was impressed with the food
Food was delicious
The most amazing restaurant in Cleveland/ northeast Ohio ! Love the service staff so kind and nice
Food delicious like any Michellan star restaurant and trust me I have eaten at a few
Fabulous dinner, very attentive service. The menu has many unusual masterpieces. Frog legs, escargot, foie gras. A nice mix of elegant entrees and medium-size dishes. A good wine list. Everything was well prepared and timely served. It was a great dinner and a wonderful evening.
Great service and food
The salad's are fantastic. The horseradish encrusted salmon was outrageous. I love this restaurant, the mission behind it and the atmosphere!
It was my sister’s birthday and the service was beyond great and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Even the music was phenomenal
Great and genuine place food well worth it service was great
The food was excellent. Our waitress was wonderful. A lovely meal.
Edwin's always has a creative menu which provides a unique experience. Prior experiences with both the food and servers was exceptional. We had celebrated New Years 2019 at Edwin's and had hoped for a great experience again. Our server for New Years Eve was relatively new - 2 months - and not attentive. We waited over 20 minutes for our meal after finishing our salad and 30 minutes for our desert. She never asked if we enjoyed our meal. She took my dinner plate which was 1/2 full away without asking if I wanted a box - I had to catch her as she was walking away. She did not know how to use the register and returned our check but not our credit card - the person who helped her process the card had kept our card??? We will return again as prior experiences would indicate that this evening was not he norm for Edwin's.
Great place for date night.
Super food and great service.
Worth the money for a terrific cause. Food was mostly quite good, not exceptional. Creme brulée was cold and grainy and the scallops were overwhelmed by an overabundance of root vegetables. Still, ultimately a good experience. Will likely return for lunch as we believe in the mission.
Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, food was delicious. Loved the cheese plates and the bananas foster!
