   The service & food were flawless - Yolanda was friendly, greeted us at the door & checked on us a few times throughout our meal. Our server was Emmett and he was warm, friendly & very attentive, checking back several times. We had the escargots, salt-cured duck & the filet mignon along with creme brulee for dessert (along with a happy birthday plate for me) and everything was delicious. We will be back in September for another birthday celebration when my mom turns 86. Edwins is amazing and what they do for former inmates warms our hearts.

   Dining at Edwins was as close to a perfect experience as possible. Everyone was very nice and very attentive to our needs. Our food was outstanding. My grandson's filet was cooked exactly like he ordered. I had him taste my burger which I had well done. He described it in one word: butter. We finished our meal with the Bananas Foster. We had only one issue with that: we wanted more of it! I wish we lived close to Cleveland because we would be regulars at Edwins!

   Different dining experience, with our servers not having much knowledge about the menu items. Service was very attentive and very cordial. Frog leg appetizer was very good. Duck confit was average as was the salmon. The soufflé was a bit of a disappointment.

   We had an enjoyable evening at Edwin’s. The staff aimed to please and the food was delicious and well prepared. My one suggestion is to work on some deep cleaning. You have so many good things happening so a sparkling, clean place would help take you over the top.

    Our second time at Edwin’s and certainly not our last. Everything was well prepared, served hot with great staff attention. A great restaurant. The Salad Nicoisse was incredible.

    First time at the restaurant. We got the lobster soup, which was outstanding, and I got the rabbit. It was very tender in the sauce was good has been got the halibut and that was amazing. I do recommend the bananas foster. The presentation was good and dessert even better.

    We had a wonderful experience. Our server was new but really trying. I loved the food, the atmosphere and the concept. I live raising a glass to raise others up! Cheers to this wonderful place.

    'Have been to Edwin's many times, this visit was not up to their usual standards. Table was not ready when we arrive. It was Sat. night and they were very busy, so don't like to judge. Our waitress definitely needs more training (Ashley). Griffith saved the day by interceding when necessary.

    Grouper was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Bananas Foster table side was a real treat visually and on the palate as well. Edwins is simply the finest French restaurant on the East Side and one of he very best restaurants regardless of cuisine type.

    We celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a group of friends. Almost everything was perfect except the pressed duck. It is too expensive and the meat was tough. The serving of the meal was a little off too. They served us the main meat first and after we finished our meal, we got a salad. We were confused. The service besides the duck serving was excellent! You never go wanting for delicious bread and water. The seafood sausage was amazing as well as the scallops. The best scallops we ever had. The wine selection is great too. We will definitely go back, but no pressed duck for us!

    The good: the ambience-beautiful old building The service-it was our server’s first night and she was putting in A+ effort The creme brûlée-as light as air, sweet but not cloying-yummy The just average: the grouper with potato wrap-my fish was over cooked and mushy the potato wrap was also mushy, not crisp as stated on the menu The bad: Entree items were over priced for what you got. For $35 I got about 5 oz Of grouper, 1/2 dozen very thin potato slices, and 8 haricot vert.

    Was my choice for my birthday and I had my husband on board with I am ordering anything I want. Duck confit was to die for. Ate it with my eyes closed so I could enjoy every bite. My husband has the Filet, said it was the best steak has ever had. I am gluten free and they were able to bring me a gluten free toast so that I too could enjoy the delicious butter. I also ate it off a spoon because it was delish! The service people were so fun and relaxed. Every request was granted or inquired upon. I can not wait to visit again!

    We had an exceptional french meal accompanied by fantastic ambiance and service. The chef stopped by the table and made the evening even more special. This was our first visit and we will return. It feels good to support someone who is invested in himself and the community to achieve great things.

    My husband, David Van Epps, and I arrived at the restaurant after a difficult day. From the gracious welcome of the valet to the smiling wine recommendation from John to the gracious, inclusive service of Yolanda to all the people who supported them and us through out the evening, we were so happy to be with these wonderful people.

    I love the concept of what is going on here but even more, I love the food & ambiance. Brandon Chrostowski, fresh off his James Beard award, came out of the kitchen & individually greeted everyone in the restaurant & invited us to see the kitchen. What a great touch!

    We were underwhelmed with the food. Without going into too much detail, it was just weird. Won’t go back. The service was good. Very friendly staff. A little awkward listening to all of the “F bombs” coming from one of employees upset about her job.
