Sushi Sashimi Bento
5 pieces assorted sushi and 5 pieces assorted sashimi
6 pieces of assorted sushi and choice of tuna roll or california roll
This was our first visit. The waiter was very helpful in guiding us to what we requested (nothing spicy). Always had full beverages and food was quick to arrive and presented perfectly. Awesome value for fresh sushi. Will be back.
So - I have eaten here a number of times and am never disappointed. IF you get Sammi as a waitress then ask her about the "Samifly" roll. Its a secret and amazing!!
everything is delicious and the portions are very generous.
Quality of the sushi/sashimi has gone down. The place is dirty and needs some updating. Ive been coming here for years and its disappointing to see this change for the worse.
Great sushi and our server made some fantastic recommendations.
It was also great to catch up with Chris and Sammie !
We always leave Edoko feeling very well taken care of and can’t wait to return.
Great Sushi and rolls, love this place.
food was great, but service wasn't at all. Had to ask many questions to get any assistance from the waitress. Will not be returning.
Outstanding from beginning to end! Servers were knowledgeable, quick to please, but also left you alone and didn't hover. Perfect evening!
Amazing as always.
Celebrate granddaughters going off to colleges.
Wonderful food and service
Service was extremely slow. It took 20-25 min to get our drinks before we even ordered.
Ambiance is great for a special occasion, and the food was amazing! Definitely splurge on the Robards Suzuki and the wrapped scallops — 10/10 recommend
Always perfect! The best sushi in Frisco-Dallas!!!!! Its great that Sammy & Chris are back! They are the best!!!!
Very good experience. I was greeted immediately upon entering and was seated at the sushi bar immediately. My server took a cocktail order promptly after I was seated. I ordered black cod from the yakitori menu (excellent) and a spicy lobster roll from the sushi menu (very good, a lot of lobster but the rice was a little over cooked). I ordered toro belly (very good very fatty), sake cured salmon roe (very good, sweet and firm) and unagi (good, very sweet) from the sushi menu. Service was excellent and attentive. Good value for the price.
Waiter seemed terribly inexperienced and had body odor. He did explain that they were short handed and the kitchen was backed up but food for the 4 of us was brought out spaced over a long period of time so that the last person to get their meal was well past when the first person’s meal came out. Food was not up to their usual standards. I had a roll with cucumber wrap that was sitting in a puddle of water on the plate. We ordered dessert but when I asked for coffee our waiter acted like he never heard of such a thing. Said they didn’t have coffee, only hot tea. They put us in a room that was so loud we couldn’t even have a conversation. I am giving them some leeway with 2 stars because I know restaurants are all having trouble getting staffed but I still felt like they were not even trying to make it a good experience.
Me and my wife had a great time
Overall it was a pretty good experience. Our waiter was very nice and funny, which made the experience very pleasant. The food was mostly good, with some exceptions. I had the shrimp dynamite roll, tuna tartare, a side of Brussels sprouts, and the ramen salad. I would highly recommend the Brussels sprouts and the shrimp dynamite roll. The ramen salad was a bit sub par, and taste just like cold noodles tossed with sweet sesame oil. Other than that, the food was really good
The food was delicious. There was nothing we didn’t like!! We had several maki rolls, some sushi, sashimi and a couple of the hot robata dishes.
My first time here. The food was excellent and the portions were very good sized. The prices for food was moderately expensive. Tables were close together, which was fine but lacked conversation privacy. Nosey guy had his chair turned sideways while he easily eavesdropped on our conversation. Very strange.
Regardless, I will return for a special occasion because the food was great! There are several menu items I want to try.
Fabulous every time. Best sushi in Frisco, hands down!
Love this place each and every time!
Good food at reasonable prices. Excellent calif rolls, Robata (grilled skewers) are very good as you can order a small sampling of multiple items. Excellent Green Tea Cheesecake for dessert.
Everything was excellent as usual. The manager, Rebeca, always takes good care of us. We started off with an order of Uni sashima and toro sashimi. I've been eating sushi for more than 50 years. I know sashimi/sushi. The toro (tuna belly) was very fresh, and tasted great. My wife enjoyed her Uni. It just melted in our mouths. We followed that up with a custom roll that Rebeca recommended. It was so good, we ordered a second order of the same roll. I'm sorry to say, it was not on the menu. So I can't tell you what it's called.
It was our anniversary. We were given a complimentary order of Crème Brûlée.
Overall, it was an excellent experience.
Everything was so good. Went for husband birthday with some friends. Our waiter, Jonah, was so great and accommodating. Definitely will go back.
Food was spectacular, service was a little awkward, and then super slow at the end.
The food is good but the pieces are too large for one bite!
Our server was great, and the food was great! We will definitely go back!
This was just a Happy Hour visit for some of their sushi specials, but it was a great idea and were very pleased with our selections. We ordered the salmon carpaccio and Jalapeño Poppers off the special menu and the Edoko Kiss off the regular menu. Everything was delicious, as usual. The only thing that went a little wrong was the iced tea didn’t have much ice in it. But Becca came by the table and noticed and asked the server to bring us a glass with just ice. He was a new server and she used it as a teaching moment and explained that the tea was still warm since it is always fresh brewed, so he should fill the glass with ice before pouring in the tea, not vice versa. Problem solved! Otherwise, he provided very good service. Edoko is our go-to sushi spot. We will definitely be going back.
Indicated our visit was for a birthday (son’s 18th birthday); however, this was not acknowledged in any way. All else, the visit was excellent (as always). But, since the reservation was noted with a special occasion, it would be nice to have that mentioned by staff.
Always a pleasure dining at Edoko. The sushi is some of the best in the dallas area.
You will not regret dining here.
I wish we loved this place. The food was OK. We have had sushi in many good area's like CA, CO and AZ but this was not the best. The service was good and attentive.
Always the best!!
Good, but not great! Felt like a limited menu comparatively and the food presentation whilst good was not great either.
Service was hit and miss - new server who didn’t know how to open a bottle of wine, and left an entree off our order.
Over, would visit but there are better Sushi places to eat.
Delicious sushi and tuna tower, but the fried ice cream was to die for! Best dessert we’ve had at a sushi restaurant
First time visit, thoroughly enjoyed it. California roll was too good i had to order a second order. Tempura (shrimp, pumpkin, red snapper) was delicious. Great value, nice atmosphere
Our waiter was just OK had to flag him down , he dropped food and ran off instead of asking if we needed anything. Otherwise he was good.
Fantastic meal and service. Very high quality.
Our waiters Jonah and Reese make exceptional dirty martinis!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ By far out favorite date night spot!
Food was good but pricey for what it was. Don’t bother making reservations for your special occasion. They won’t pay attention or do anything special. We were sat in a normal booth for our anniversary and there was no mention of celebration even though it was all over our reservation.
