                            A friend of mine recommended going to dinner here. We made reservations and the ambience was spectacular, however, the food was not worth what we paid for it. My daughter ordered the 1/2 chicken with the succotash and cornbread, I ordered the salmon. It was not that good and her cornbread left a horrible taste in our mouths, it was dry and not good at all. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. Had we ordered only appetizers and a cocktail it would probably have been better. The hotel is beautiful and the views are amazing.

                            We had 2 separate reservations and wanted to have all 8 guests at one table. The manager graciously made it happen despite having to close off the outdoor tables due to rain. Server was excellent, very attentive. Food and drinks were good and reasonably prices.

                            We had a great experience the evening of 5/25! There were four of us and three of us received our meals at the same time, but I did not and was waiting a little bit longer than I should. When our wonderful server Callen P saw that I was missing mine, He not only informed the kitchen to get on it right away but he also informed the manager who came over and apologized and gave me dessert on the house! Truly, a wonderful staff who really cares about their patrons ! This was our first time at Edison and we enjoyed the food, the ambience and the wonderful service! We live in Asheville and we come to the Omni for the bar and to sit and listen to the live music from time to time. Needless to say, we will definitely be dining at the Edison as well! Thank you for a wonderful evening on my birthday!

                            Our family thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the Grove Park Inn and the view from the Edison Restaurant. Food and drinks were superb as was the service. The hostess even volunteered to take our photo. I didn’t give 5 stars to ambience because the TVs are too numerous. I am not sure that there needs to be any. I didn’t notice anyone watching them and it does draw away from the beautiful architecture and view. However, I go there whenever I visit Asheville and will again.
