    I treated my mom to a nice Christmas dinner and we had the best experience! The food was AMAZING. Everything was cooked just right. Although, I would recommend having more dessert options.

    The Bolognese dish was very good. My wife and I split it as well as a smash burger which was also very delicious. Great service and atmosphere.

    I love eating at Edison! It never disappoints! The pretzel bread is wonderful! Cocktails were so unique and enjoyable! Our entrees were fabulous too!! Can't wait to go back!

    We had a great time for lunch! We sat right next to the window and had a fabulous view of the mountains and actual hotel. The food was delicious and the service couldn't have been better! We hope to be back very soon!

    Highly recommend if you are at The Grove Park Inn. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. We had a great view of the back of the Grove Park and the mountains. We will be back!

    First time at this restaurant. The tagliatelle and Bolognese were excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. Wonderful setting only complaint is, like so many restaurants today, the noise level was very high. I will definitely return.

    I have eaten at the Edison many times over the past few years, and have come to expect a certain level of service from the restaurant. Our server was kind, but seemed to disappear after we put in our order. We all ordered soup and had to wait 5-10 minutes after we received our food to get a soup for it. The food was good, but for the price, I would expect a better product and service.

    For the money we paid, the portions were small. The food was ok, but not fabulous. The waitress was not attentive and seemed to be having a bad day. We were disappointed because we made the reservations several months ago and were really looking forward to it

    When we first walked in the Grove Park it seemed frenetic with activity and noise. The restaurant was the same. The service was great, the food was okay, and at $35, the valet parking was exorbitant.

    Our server David was sweet, friendly and quick. I ordered the grilled cheese, tomatoes soup with small salad. The grilled cheese was delicious, tomato soup was thick almost like paste. It was not served with a spoon… I had to wait to get David’s attention for a spoon. The Blue cheese dressing with my salad was tasteless and thin like water. Yuk! My husband had the meatloaf with jalapeño bacon, served on mashed sweet potatoes, he thought it was good. My brother had the Butter chicken with rice, he was highly disappointed it was more of an Indian dish, he believed it would be more southern. We did have the pimento cheese dip as an appetizer and all of us thought that was very good! I ordered a hot chocolate with a shot of Bailey’s-$16 for a hot chocolate? ($4 for an instant packet of Hot Chocolate and $12 for a shot of Baileys-Ridiculous!!!) Beer is $9 and an Old Fashion for my husband $30. The Old Fashion was served with several tiny cubes of ice (water’s it down) instead of the traditional one large cube of ice. For year’s I’ve loved Grove Park, love staying there, love Elaine’s. Unfortunate in the last 3 years the overall quality of food has greatly declined and Grove Park is losing its beautiful ambience it looks tired and worn. While prices of food in the restaurant’s have more then doubled, the food is served just so-so, lacking a nice presentation, no bread, no salt & pepper on tables, just a plain old worn wood table with a rolled napkin and silverware. I made Open Table reservations very early on Wednesday morning for a high top table for 3 at 5:30pm Edison’s-Confirmed. When we arrived at exactly 5:30pm many tables vacant. I’m told there are no high top tables available, they had all been reserved -?- only table available for us was by the fireplace, next to the wrought iron railings public walkway. Really??? Add $25 to park. Crazy!

    The food was excellent. However, my wife ordered a gluten free chicken sandwich and it was served with a brioche non gluten bun. The man who delivered the food insisted that it was gluten free. Our waiter apologized but there was no off-set on the bill.

    Another excellent experience with the Edison. Quite busy due to the Holiday Season, our food was still prepared as requested, served promptly, and delicious as always. A particular call out to the staff - we had requested a specific table and the host stand insured we received it, which created a bit of pressure on our waitress as she received multiple seatings “out of rotation”, which she handled capably and professionally. (She was also new, further kudos.). We had several special requests with regards to food preparation, all were accommodated and completed without issue. Pacing of meal was excellent, food was served promptly, but we never felt rushed or pressured. Although we are repeat diners, our guests are new to the restaurant, and enjoyed the experience. Both they, and we, will return.

    Beautiful views, food was a great price and delicious. I was celebrating my birthday and the waiter brought me a cake with a candle, the cake was a chocolate cake that had a mouse filling and it was amazing.

    We had the impossible smash burger with french fries. It was one of the best vegitarian burgers we have ever had. The waiter was very friendly and was very accomodating and attentive. The table we sat at provided a very nice view of the mountains. I will recommend the Edison room to to my friends.

    I took my 78 year old mother for lunch at The Edison. She had never been to the mountains. She was absolutely speechless and this is a woman who talks nonstop. A big thank you to The Edison restaurant for providing an unforgettable experience for my mother and absolutely delicious food. She will talk about this “experience” for a very long time. I 1000% recommend.

    The good: Dinner was fantastic. Service was very good. The not-so-good: We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and were not seated until 15 minutes after our reservation (why make a reservation if you still have to wait 25 minutes?!). Do better. Unfortunately Edison was also very loud and full of drunkards. We were expecting a refined, fine dining experience with some sports on TV in the background, not a bar scene with screaming, hooting, and hollering.

    We always enjoy Edison's. Great view from certain tables. Nice atmosphere. It is a casual place. Very relaxing. There are several TVs for sports fans. We typically get a selection of appetizers & salad. Always good. Will return!
