WILLIAM was attentive and very friendly server. Was delightful dinner. Next time I will send my over cooked steak - ordered rare and got medium well. Hot throughout light pink center. But overall group agreed we’d be back
Came here for our anniversary and they had the table set up with Rose Petals and a card. Afterwards we went into the lounge and was entertained by a Jazz Trio. Open table experience was great too.
This was our first time at Eddie V’s restaurant in Fort Worth. We were exceptionally pleased. They have steaks but we only had seafood dishes. Everything we had was fabulous. The ambience and the restaurant is very good. The service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed eating there and would highly recommend it.
another fine evening with delicious salad, lemon sole an mashed potatoes....great service from Robert.
Service was wonderful. Ambiance was fine. But we went for the food...where for a premium price I was treated to tough, rubbery shrimp, my wife had an underwhelming sea bass and we shared a bowl of partially cooked au gratin potatoes. At least the dessert was complimentary.
I don’t mind waiting but don’t tell me it’s 15 minutes when it’s 30. The service was the worst I have ever had... we usually go to Eddie V for special occasions and until this last time it’s been fantastic. The service was poor, it took over 10 minutes to take our drink order, we had to ask for bread, a cold app took 30 minutes to get to us (which clearly based on how much ice had melted been sitting out a while). The server would disappear for extended periods of time, and the secondary servers we never saw after our initial seating. The food itself was great... we usually spend more money then we did, but was disappointed with the experience so wanted to leave. Even after expressing our concern with our server there was no apology, just irritation. I recognize they were quite busy at it was Mother’s Day, but my mother definitely didn’t have a good experience.
My family and I celebrated Mother’s Day here. They were running a few minutes behind ( which they were sincerely apologetic about) so we grabbed a drink in the bar. Enjoyed listening to a great band! Very fun ambiance. Then we were seated and the manager came by to offer apologies again for the small delay...and gave us 2 complimentary appetizers which was very nice. Our waitress, Brittany, was super helpful in recommending dishes that we all enjoyed immensely! Although we were very full, we still ordered a couple desserts to share and they were delicious also. A wonderful experience! We will definitely come back when we are visiting TCU again!
Went Mother’s Day evening with 6:45 reservations. Took 2 hours to eat, weren’t even waited on for 30 minutes. Food was good when it eventually arrived an hour and a half after we were seated. Second time in a row at this location with very poor service.
All good... Seafood was, as usual, perfectly prepared & delicious. Michael, our server, was absolutely superb!
Eddie V’s is always great—this visit was no exception...
We took my wife their for Mother’s Day, we have been to this restaurant numerous times but this was the first where they actually ran out of certain condiments or appetizers.
Eddie V needs to stick to their regular nightly menu. Mother's Day brunch was terrible. Service was friendly, atmosphere good but the brunch menu food was not worth eating
Excellent service by Jeramy and appreciate the complimentary appetizers since we were delayed a little. Lovely meal at a lovely place!
What stress? Even in the midst of Mother's Day Eve, TCU Graduation and a normal Saturday night crowd our experience was wonderful. The food was prepared and served perfectly, the cocktail service (especially the Smoked Old Fashion) superb and our servers were on top of everything. Even with a whole lot going on around us no one was rattled and our outing was totally stress free. Thanks.
Think I I left my apple phone there with blue or turquoise cover.
Please call my husbands phone. 817-821-0561 to let us know if you have found it
We ate dinner in the bar with Riley as our waitress. Table 8. I think A table against the wall in the lounge.
We dined at Eddie V's the Saturday before Mother's Day, and it was excellent. The only downside was the temperature. It was a bit cool for some, but they were expecting a crowd. Everything else was fantastic, especially the blackberry cobbler dessert. The swordfish was excellent, as well as the salmon, I am told.
We enjoyed our drinks in the bar, the live music was very nice. While we had reservations, we weren’t seated for 45 minutes after our reservation, which was disappointing, but the manager gave us an appetizer to share, which we appreciated.
Our waiter was not as attentive as I’d preferred, but the food was very good & we enjoyed our evening.
This was an extravagance for us, we would not normally spend this much for a meal, but we had been given a very generous gift certificate, so we splurged!
Nice service, reliable great food!
Food was very tasty...and Robert provided wonderful service.
We had never been to Eddie V’s, but we are definitely returning! Loved everything about it! Great food, great ambiance, great service! What more could one ask for?
Great experience for a birthday celebration. Seating was a little delayed but manager made it right and my wife had a choice of dessert, which is always a nice touch. Really enjoyed the waiter's wine knowledge and he helped us pick out a really great bottle. It was more than I normally like to pay but the recommendation was spot on.
We will definitely go back soon and will let our friends and family know as well.
It was a wonderful night! Great food and service as usual!
Our waiter Cory was fantastic!
The only negative was the circle booth seating.
We felt very closed in 😨
Excellent service and great food is the reason this is one of my favorite restaurants in DFW and why I keep coming back.
Very nice service and excellent food
the salad, fish and entree were very good; we had a new server(TK)who was good.....still in a "learning mode" but surely has very good potential.
First time eating at Eddie V's, and it lived up to it's reputation. Couldn't think of a better place to have eaten at for our 14th anniversary than here. Food was excellent as well as the service. Our waiter, Connor, was on it and just an all around likeable guy. Added bonus: we were seated at table 33, and that's my favorite number.
I’ve been here many times and always loved it.
However, this last time, we had a bad experience- the dining room temp was way too cold but worse, the kitchen was extraordinarily slow. We got there at 7:05. It took 25 min to get bread. It took an hour plus to get our entrees. We ordered dessert prior to being served our entrees. At 9:25, we were still waiting on desserts we had ordered at 8:30. We decided to leave but couldn’t find our waiter, who had been good most of the night. Another waiter got the Mgr, who got our bill and checked us out. He was very nice and apologetic, to his credit.
The food was great, once we got it. I will definitely give Eddie V another chance, hoping this was just an off night.
As always great service and food. Our waiter, John, was outstanding with tge patience of Job.
Although two of the bottles of wine from the same case had gone bad, Rob did an excellent job and all four of us had a good laugh at the "unusual" taste of the wine. The staff had some very descriptive words. The wine was replaced with the recommended Pistol, which was very good.
The meal, of which we all had different types of fish and 3 of the sides (lobster mashed potatoes, asparagus, and sauteed spinach) was quite delicious. Rob did an excellent job of waiting and was a very pleasant conversationalist. He handled the wine issue very well and with humor. Reservations were honored and our table was ready at 6:30 as requested on a Friday evening. Dessert and coffee was a pleasant finish to the evening. Of course, sharing the meal with our friends was super enjoyable.
I ordered the 22 oz. prime bone in ribeye expecting a melt in your mouth steak. Instead I got a steak that was very chewy and fatty. My girlfriend ordered a the 8 0z. filet and her steak was just okay. On the other side, the side items were fantastic! We were the only table for our server at first and the service was great until he got a 2nd table and then a 3rd table. After he got his 3rd table we were unable to get a 2nd glass of wine or order dessert until we were ready to leave. Needless to say, we no longer wanted either one of those things at that time. On the positive side, the other wait staff did keep our water glasses filled. This was my 2nd time there and I was highly disappointed as was my girlfriend. My first experience had been a 5 star experience.
Just awesome! Rate attention to detail in today’s restaurant world!
Great meal and service. Lobster was fantastic as were the other entrees.
Eddie Vs is always a great place for a special occasion. Their seafood tower was outstanding and gave all 4 of us plenty to taste for an appetizer. The filet mignon was also wonderful as was the wine list. We will be back for the next special occasion or maybe just for the seafood tower and a glass of wine!
Outstanding experience. Our server was very knowledgeable and prompt with our order. Some of the best seafood I've had in DFW. It will cost some money but well worth it.
Every time I’ve been to Eddie Vs has been just about perfect. If there was something that wasn’t perfect it was so insignificant I can’t remember what it may have been. The food is beyond great and the service is impeccable. Absolutely perfect all around.
Excellent food and our server Mike was great!
a very nice dinner of salad, filet of beef, mashed potatoes....wonderful service from Rob Greeley
My husband and I were staying in Fort Worth and were looking to have an elegant 5 star dining experience and I found Eddie V's and we were not disappointed with our meal and the amazing wine selection! Staff is very experienced and having a sommelier helped elevate our experience as we like to try different wines! Definitely recommend and worth the money to any foodie and/or wine lover!! We will be back!
Ran out of special and did not notify us of the change just went ahead and served an alternative. Steaks were not cooked to order one overdone the other was underdone, sides went cold while waiting for corrections. I was very disappointed as this has been our go to spot to entertain.
