    This was the first time we've had a service issue at Eddie V's. They seated us, gave us bread, then totally ignored us for almost 15 minutes until we asked a passing waiter for assistance and to fill our water glasses. Maybe they were short staffed. Our then assigned waiter was pleasant and well-informed, but she too left us waiting long periods for attention at multiple points during our meal. This has never happened to us at this location in the past. The food, however, was excellent -- wedge salad, halibut, crab rice. They even gave us a dessert for our anniversary. We like this restaurant a lot, so I'm hoping our service issue was a one-off.
