    We started with the Ahi Tuna Tartare and the MD Crab Cake; as I was born and grew up in Baltimore County you can rest assured that the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake could stand proudly next to any in Maryland! My husband then ordered the wedge salad and I wanted the beet salad but felt that most burrato salads have more cheese than other ingredients. Our server, Jonathan, offered to request more beets and less cheese and it was absolutely perfect for my palate! There were golden, orange and red beets and all were fantastic. Then we choose to share the bone in Rib Eye and asparagus. At times I lack finesse, especially when there is a bone around, and I picked up the bone and gnawed it clean. My husband was classier and ate the perfectly "charred on the outside, medium rare on the inside" rib eye. We finished with a lite dessert concocted especially for our visit. We were delighted that the restaurant had noted that we ate there last year on June 2 for our 45th anniversary and we were greeted with a lovely anniversary card signed by the gracious staff. All together a totally perfect and romantic evening!

    My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff provided us a signed card anniversary card by all of the employees. We felt so special on our wedding anniversary. You only have one 40th wedding anniversary. THANK YOU!!!

    We always have a fantastic time at Eddie V's! Last night we celebrated our daughter's graduation — and her boyfriend's graduation as well. When we arrived at the table, they had sprinkled 2025 grad confetti on the middle of the table, and had a "Congratulations!" card signed by the staff. We noticed rose petals scattered on the table of a nearby group that was also celebrating something. What a thoughtful way to make guests feel extra special on a big night out! Luigi, our waiter, was top notch! We had a few questions about the menu, and he was ready with answers. Everything came out smoothly, and our drinking glasses were never empty. For dessert, he brought two special sampler plates for our new grads, which was perfect for my daughter who loves trying a variety of desserts. 🙂 The support staff was also wonderful — friendly valet & front desk, the latter of whom asked if we were celebrating anything special, hence the extra table flair. And the staff who cleared our plates and packed up our leftovers was friendly and attentive. We felt well attended at just the right level. We'll definitely continue to go to Eddie V's for special occasions. Thanks for a fun, memorable experience! PS: If you want a low ambient noise level, be sure to request a table in the room that's to the right when you walk in, that's separate from the bar area. In the room to the left, they usually have a band playing near the bustling bar (which seems to always be fully seated!), and that's also a ton of fun! But it's definitely a louder, livelier dining experience, versus something designed for quiet conversation.

    One of the best restaurants in Austin. The steak (NY strip) was among the best I've ever had, anywhere. Service was perfect. Highly recommended.
