   First off, we thought it was going to be a Mothers Day buffet like last year. It wasn’t. My called to ask if it was going to be a buffet and was told it was. We ordered our food at 10:05 and didn’t get it until 10:50. The wait staff wasn’t very attentive. We were very dissatisfied.

   Service was a little slow but very friendly. I think is is the place you order “drinks” as I would not recommend the coffee or tea and noticed others had several fruity drinks. The jerk chicken and waffle was amazing! Spicy but not overdone, great flavor! The Tres Leches French toast is not something I’d order again but well made, the bacon was perfectly cooked and smokey- YUM

   Food was good, but the service was pretty slow and we sat for over an hour before we even got our food. They missed several items and we had to ask for drink refills. Granted it was Easter day, and I know the server was a bit frazzled, but they weren’t very crowded.

   The server that we had was really nice and he made sure every dish met our expectations. The restaurant itself was alright, the place looks a lot smaller and different than what the pictures make it look. It was more of a one and done type of meal for us. If you happen to pass by, don’t expect long waits. The night I went I had made a reservation but there were a lot of open spots, and even while at the restaurant, I saw that each walk in that came by was seated right away.

   They were very open and helpful. We ended up having an additional person. They were able to sit at the table, and this was generous, considering it was reservation only. The rooftop bar was lit!

    It was an Excellent experience! We Loved the boutique restaurant/bar ambiance. The drinks were great and the food was delicious… however, some of our food was just so, very spicy it detracted from the overall wonderful flavors. We certainly recommend Eclipse… and we will return often!

    We made reservations for 5:30 and arrived at 5:20 only for the host to have a hard time finding our reservation. We were seated, server took our drink orders and then we were switched to a different server. Our bar drinks came out quickly. We then ordered our meal. Food didn’t arrive at the table until after 6:30. It was delicious but took forever, we had concert tickets for 7pm. Great food, but too long to arrive. Great drinks, but the second round from the bar also took forever. Slow service, but a great meal. Over all we left happy

    I love the atmosphere of this restaurant! The night we dined there seemed to be a staffing issue, the waiter was very friendly and did his best but he was the only one front of house for awhile. They were out of items both on the food menu and the cocktail menu. I will try again maybe just a rough night.

    Brunch was incredible. Perfect amount of service from the staff, and the food food was amazing. Ate until it hurt and I regret nothing. Will be back for sure. Wish it was sunday already.

    Very understaffed and rushed through ordering. Unfortunate for us a person in our group had a food allergy and the menu does not have full disclosure of the ingredients. The evening was spent preparing for an allergic reaction instead of the relaxed fun evening planned, when asking the waitress what the food contained she said she had no idea - it was her first night.

    The Eclipse kitchen creates truly fabulous dishes. The deep fried whole snapper was one of the best fish preparations I have ever had. Everyone was kind, enthusiastic and helpful.

    Our server was polite, but she got my order wrong. My wine glass arrived looking like it had been dipped in water before they filled it. The Caesar salad was uninspired and my husband didn't like the seasoning on the french fries.

    The restaurant was near empty (only one other table), but still, in that easy-paced atmosphere, our server did not offer drinks, forgot to bring out our ordered appetizer, and generally seemed to ignore us. The real icing on the cake was that it was our 50th wedding anniversary and our daughter tried to surprise us by pre-paying for our dinner. Unfortunately, the restaurant either forgot or didn't really care to do so. It was a truly disappointing experience.

    We came for my birthday dinner, just two couples. It took 20 minutes for a waitress to come to our table to take our drink/appetizer order. Another 20 minutes later and we still had neither. 45 minutes after walking in, we had 2 of 4 drinks. This was after they tried to bring 4 incorrect drinks to table, TWICE! Then they asked US if we were table 12!!! We were able to order entrees at this point, but the appetizers hadn’t come. Another 30 minutes passed before we got our entrees. The appetizers came at the same time as the entrees. One of them was wrong. The whole thing was a disaster, and the only saving grace is that we were with our friends. We’ll never be back to this place.

    I went here for my 33rd birthday day. We made reservations for 7:00pm. We arrived at 6:45pm and were seated right away unfortunately the only quick service we received was seating. We didn’t get food until roughly 8:40pm. The food orders weren’t correct but because we were starving, committed and it was late we decided to make the best of a terrible situation. We didn’t leave until about 10:15pm and paying for the food was a struggle not financially but getting our bill and food boxes was another struggle. I will honestly never go back and after spending about $700 on dinner that will be my last time every spending a dime there.

Hopefully your other guests that arrived later in the evening were able to be seated just as promptly. We course things out when appetizers are ordered. We apologize it was not explained.     Server would not tell us the vegetable of the day or the cost of the special. Eclipse is part of the passport dining program and they refused to accept the card. The manager offered a 10% discount and said they do not have gift cards for any reason. The manager brought out the chef who said they would not accept the passport card and then tried to rescind the 20% discount offer. DO NOT GO HERE for food. The bartender was awesome, changed the TV for us and drinks were on point.

    I didn't like set up for our party of 8. It appeared that we were going to a wedding reception with the round table and the number displayed on a metal stand on the table. Not a good first impression but the food made up for it. Everything was amazing and unique. Lovely presentation but the ambiance was not great for our party. We we seated off from the main restaurant as this was the design for larger groups

    We really enjoyed Eclipse for the first time! Drinks, their house salad, brussels sprouts, and a fried whole snapper were outstanding. The dessert was great too, it was called Cool Running. Service was great too. My wife really, really likes this place, so we'll be back.

    We had reservations, and arrived on time. The hostess started mumbling that our reservation didn't have a table number assigned to it. She continued to strangely mumble, and we couldn't hear anything she was saying. After about 5 minutes of this, she sat us at the world's smallest table. We told her that wasn't going to work, and asked if we could go upstairs to the rooftop. We went up to the rooftop and a private party was ending. There was no hostess or anyone to help with tables. We went to the bar, and asked if they were serving food. The bartender didn't even look at us, and rudely said "yes" and sat some paper menus down. The menu was not the same as what we were expecting so we went back downstairs. We had to again ask the hostess for a table. (Mind you, there was only two other tables full in the restaurant, plenty of open tables!) She finally sat us a decent table. After 15 minutes, no one ever came to greet us, take our drink order, or acknowledge us. The bartenders clearly saw us just sitting and looking around, yet no one ever came and acknowledged us. We never even saw a waitress the entire time we were there. So we finally just got up and left.

    I would have given this 4 stars but the service was not good. The server took our order without writing anything down. As such, she completely forgot to put in a salad and an entree!! I mean, if you are not going to write anything down, you'd better remember everything. I asked the guy who dropped off the food where my salad was and he said he would go check on it and never came back. The server said, as I was eating my entree, she would go check on it and I told her nevermind and remove it from my check. The port entre came 20 min after the rest of us got ours. On a good note, the food was AMAZING! Try the Brussell sprouts!! So good. Steak and Frites were yummy. Ambiance was ok. Not amazing. That entire room could use a remodel.
