Server got order wrong and did nothing for birthday
Took my mom for her birthday. Food was delicious!
The most beautiful view and romantic setting ever! Food was good. But the service could have been a tad better, more attentiveness would have been appreciated
We were a little late for our reservation and everyone was still accommodating and the food was awesome.
My first time and I was impressed by the entire experience! Everything was amazing!! I will definitely be back.
As always this place never disappoints! We just love it here. The ambience around Christmas and getting to see different parts of the city is amazing. The food is excellent and the staff never leaves you with a want or need. Awesome place!
I booked a 2 night reservation at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and chose to dine at Eagle's Nest. The food options to order directly to my room were very limited so I decided to make a reservation for New Year's day. My girlfriend and I had dinner reservations for 6:30 PM. We arrived at 6:30 PM and were promptly seated right next to the window so we were able to see the city of Indianapolis as we revolved around the restaurant.
The food was good but not what I would consider a 5 star meal. I ordered seafood chowder (which was delicious - very large portion) and my girlfriend ordered the prime rib dinner (she said her prime rib was pretty good). When my friend stated to the server that her brussel sprouts were cold they were replaced immediately. They also have warm bread for the table to snack on while you are pondering what you would like to order from the menu.
The service was outstanding. The staff was very attentive to our needs and answered our questions about the menu with patience; they were knowledgeable about menu items and portions and offered suggestions on wine and cocktail pairings with meal selections.
If you are looking for a romantic dining experience this is the place!
The ambiance and service are absolutely worth the money.
Very good food
Nice experience
Good staff
Attentive
Excellent! Their prime rib was fantastic and they had really good drinks too!
Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. She made some great suggestions for wine.
The food was over priced with slow service. When our food was received it was over cooked
The food was amazing but I wish we could have pick from the menu. There was a menu with 4 different options only. We must try this restaurant again.
Great place to go! Will definitely be going there again for another nice dinner with spectacular views.
We took my sister, who had never been to Indianapolis, to the Eagle’s Nest to show her our wonderful city. The service was impeccable from checkin, to seating, and of course serving us our delicious meals. The attention to detail with our food requests to allowing time between courses was followed and appreciated. The food was exquisitely prepared and artfully presented. I will recommend the Eagle’s Nest for anyone who has out of town family or friends to experience our great city from this vantage point. Great food and views during your experience!
Thanks to the staff who made our experience so enjoyable!

We had friendly and attentive service, excellent food and weren't rushed at any point in the evening. This is the second visit in two years - definitely consider it if looking for a great meal.
Love this place! My girlfriend and I were taken care of immediately once we sat down by a very nice lady & gentleman. Made good conversation with him talking about the stock market. The food was absolutely incredible & the view just as much! Will definitely be coming back again.
Amazing food and beautiful place
Highly recommended
The staff were great, our server was late term pregnant, yet still moving like a gazelle & making an appearance about every 2-3 minutes to check on us...total rock star there...the resturant & view were both beautiful...the equipment that spins the resturant was very noisy on the Lucas Oil Stadium side of the resturant though.
The food was mostly average - they were out of filets so I ordered the prime rib & it was a huge disappointment. The kitchen staff should have known better than to serve it - it was mostly fat and never should have been cooked, much less served.
The mashed potatoes were the absolute highlight of all the food & a side should never outshine the rest of any meal.
Overall, the food didn't live up to the ambience or the cost.
I will try again in the future, hoping this was isolated - but if the food quality doesn't improve past Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse standards, itll be my last.
Service was a bit slow. Waited 10+ minutes for server after we were seated. Service was slow for such an upscale restaurant. Drinks ran empty while waiting for meal & during meal. I expected our food to take a bit & Food was excellent. Will definitely return. Just need to work on speed of service. Even at 1/2, Valet was still almost $20
Waitress barely checked on us. Got our food late. Service was horrible.
We arrived at our reservation time and were escorted to our table immediately. Servers were attentive but not overly so. They were very helpful on menu selections. Food was delicious. We will go back!
The reception and the staff were excellent. Door was good. Aver all experience was excellent.
If anything, get the crab cakes. They’re delicious
The food was the star here, as you would hope. I like that when you order an entree, you get a whole meal with sides. It was fine dining, without some of the pretentiousness of other places. No coat room, no al a carte side ordering, no one scooping every bread crumb the moment it falls. I felt like the water refills were excessive during a pandemic. The less people at my table, the better; but they were often filing every few sips. I actually don't care for that in a regular times either though. We went on Christmas Eve and had a lovely time. With the shape of the restaurant, each table by the window has a private feel because there is only the aisle to one side. The view was beautiful and gave it an "experience" feel, instead of only dinner. Very happy with our experience.
Excellent food, service, & ambience. We will definitely go back again!
Food was ample, delicious, and cooked to perfection. Ambience was excellent although was disappointed in new ‘relaxed’ dress code acceptance. Service was good - view was spectacular. Will return again.

From the food to the service the evening was perfect. I couldn’t ask for a better experience! Everyone was so attentive to every detail and we will be back! I highly recommend for any of your dining needs!
When I first step in this place I my first thoughts were the view & its beautiful at night to bad it wasn't snowing. But the food there are small portions but good very pricey. I enjoyed my time & place there.
Only disappointment was waiting nearly an hour for our food and the tuna poke was way subpar. The service was great
We were given a scenic view sitting along the the glass window. Each rotation was approximately and hour and a half. The service was prompt. The food was excellent! I was pleasantly surprised when I received the bill. It's not uncommon for us to pay twice as much for a meal equal to the same quantity and taste.
Wonderful time! We went for our anniversary and really enjoyed our food.
The Eagles nest was great but don’t book a reservation on open table....they didn’t have our reservation when we got there. They went ahead and seated us but it was very frustrating!
This review is just to express what an awful experience we had at the Eagles Nest last night. We booked an early 6pm special dinner so my 8 year old could see the city before taking in the Christmas Tree in the circle. We thought this would be an elegant evening. I had called Hyatt who said there was a children’s menu- my son has Autism -though high functioning, extreme sensory issues with food and eats very little variety. When we arrived, the host greeted us with no more than a grunt, he was rude and just threw the menus on the table. Following, we had a lovely server, Angel. We ordered a bottle of wine. When we ordered dinner, she explained no children’s menu and my son went into panic. Steaks, chops- he cannot eat. She explained the Hyatt must have confused the children’s menu with the downstairs restaurant. We asked if we could get him a plain burger downstairs so we could enjoy our special evening, especially since we just opened a 65$ bottle of wine to be enjoyed with dinner, not slammed before. She asked the manager who never made an appearance- and said we could eat Eagke nest food downstairs, but a simple burger could not be eaten upstairs. It was outrageous- rude, unkind, pretentious- especially in a restaurant that was nearly empty. I am sure we would have spent 240$.
It broke my heart, ruined the special night, and it was a waste of money. I called Tony’s Steakhouse across the street, they happily took us. They were friendly, accommodating, and genuine in making sure we had great food and a good time. But by then my son was tired, embarrassed, hungry.
I get the Eagles Nest considers itself upscale and exclusive- but in a city full of upscale food and friendly welcoming restaurants- the Eagles Nest will only stand out for its views. I’ll never take my business and family guests there again, nor book the Hyatt. Unkind, rude, pretentious behavior is out not in.
The food was amazing and it had a wonderful view.
Delicious meal. Everything cooked perfectly. Drinks outstanding.
If you like a view with your meal or just a place to sip an evening coffee while the sun sets there's no better place than The Eagle's Nest!
Good food and service. Disappointed the we didn’t get the seating that we requested 6 weeks in advance.
Awesome experience. Renee is exceptional as usual. (Server)
Was a very nice and quiet night for how busy they were. Had a slot of space away from everyone
18 year tradition for Christmas love the food I love the view.
