Eagle's Nest - Hyatt Regency Indianapolis
For the comfort of our guests, we do request business casual attire.
They no longer do anything for birthdays so it was very disappointing. The food wasn’t as good as last year either, but the bread was good as usual.
The pork chop was AMAZING. Like the whole plate was amazing. You don't get amazing plates like this now a days
We always hope to have Rene take care of us. We had not seen her the last 2 or 3 times we were in. It was wonderful to see her again this week! And this visit, everyone came up to us and chatted and welcomed us, even if they weren't working our table. It felt like family. What a treat. Food excellent, as always. I am particular about my salmon: I want it rare, and I got it rare! Thank you for taking such loving and fun care of us. Norman and Pam
We had a reservation and were seated right away. The service was prompt and friendly, never felt we had to wait on anything. Handwritten birthday card and greeting for my daughter, very nice touch! Great evening for me and my daughters!
My first time visiting, I and my boyfriend love it. Great customer service, will come next time
Could use a bit more menu items for selection.
Was out of seabass
The food was great. The view was breathtaking. Would definitely recommend
Perfect anniversary dinner, with great service from hostess, to server, and the server's assistant.
Everyone was extremely nice. The food was really tasty and we'll prepared. The view was beautiful and the overall atmosphere was just peaceful. The price was excellent for this place and I would definitely recommend if you're wanting a peaceful evening with good drinks and a nice dinner .
The food was nothing to write home about but the ambience, view and service made up for it.
The service and food was perfect. I highly recommend taking your significant other for a great evening of food and time together.
Incredible experience, a unique and dynamic view of the city. Excellent and knowledgeable staff help bring the quality to new heights.
What a jewel in the heart of the city. Nice to see the city from all angles. Stay long enough to completely rotate.
The service was good. The kitchen was out of items like romaine lettuce and toppings for the cheesecake. Our steaks were sub par. I had the prime rib and it was less than impressive. the menu was limited. the best thing about the evening, as always, was the view
The only problem I had with my time was the table my date and I were seated at was wobbly or needed tightening down. I felt as though we might titer-totter the food off the table. Did not mention anything to waitress about moving because did not want to cause a scene. Otherwise, we both had an outstanding time.
Food was excellent, atmosphere can’t be beat, the hosts were great and the place was perfect.
Service was less than what we expect at a basic restaurant. Server was impersonal, did not show any real attention, took 20 min to get a dessert menu and she came by 1 time during the hour long dinner.
Highly disappointed there
This was our first time and it was a great experience. 10/10 recommend the cremé brûlée desert!
Views were pretty! Our waitress and other staff very helpful. The food on the other hand wasnt what I was expecting. Mushrooms side is not fresh comes right out of a can and maybe just microwaved to be warm. The meats were delicious, mash potatoes were ok. But I will never pay for that ever again better restaurants in Indy to go to.
Really disappointed in my prime rib. For the price I expected a good cut of meat. I have had better prime rib at our local mom & pop restaurant.
Wonderful sunset and city view. Great service!
Do NOT park below the Hyatt, maze layout,,paid 28.00, terrible!
They seating was great and our server was attentive and helpful. The food was excellent as well as the drinks. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a fantastic night out.
Terrible service starting at hostess and ending with waitress.
We celebrated our friend’s 85th birthday and she said it was the nicest time she’s ever had. Thank you for making her day so memorable. The only improvement I suggest is that you spell the name correctly on the preordered cake.
Hostess was extremely rude and unhelpful. We had a reservation for 6 confirmed with open table in the email. She was very unhappy her system said two people and said to no longer use opentable for reservations. We had to beg her to give us a table in a not full restaurant. Hostess was rude when leaving also. Wait staff was excellent. Food came out over cooked and cool not hot. Steaks were tender.
Beautiful view and great food
The NY Strip I ordered had a little more fat on it than I care for, but all else was great.
One of my favorite places, my dad turned 70 so we took him some where beautiful, and as always the Eagles' Next was beautiful with great food and wonderful service!
Good view but the service was not great. Our server spent most of the time chatting about herself with the neighboring table of guys. Our drinks were not brought out immediately as we had to remind her twice. After we initially ordered and thought our food would be coming out she came back to tell us the three items out of our groups orders were no longer available. Sold out. Our reservation time was 9:45 so I understand food being sold out, but sadly she spent so much time talking to the table next to us that we didn't even get to reorder new stuff and get out and a decent time. We were there till well after midnight. The food was good however we had canceled an order of side mushrooms that were never brought out, and instead of canceling them they were brought out after everyone was done eating and still charge to the bill. She however was nice when she interacted with us. Once we left and went back down to valet, the valet gentleman ask for a gratuity upon payment and then proceeded to hand us our keys and have us walk back to her Vehicles they were parked on the entrance side of the valet garage. Just seemed like a weird experience. I will go back in the future because of the view but I hope this message has been evaluated and taken into consideration.
Food was wonderful service was wonderful other than the water guy seemed to be rushing us a little bit about boxing up our food.
Absolutely amazing experience . Very romantic setting and it was very quiet. Food was phenomenal and we will be back again!!
You are paying mostly for the view so it would be nice if all the tables were sideways not just the ones next to window. If your the next level up one person has a great seat one has their back to the window. The food was very good but not the best that I've tasted in indy. Just because you make reservations 3 monthes in advance it doesnt guarentee a window seat yet reservations are highly recommended on weekends or special holidays like I did ( Valentine's day ) . Price wise there was 2 of us no appetizer or desert each of us 1 glass of wine. The bill was 118.00 without tip and without 18.00 for parking.
Location was great and the steak was incredible. The sides were very disappointing as they were ice cold and I can cook better asparagus and cauliflower at home. It also took them about 25 minutes for the server to bring us our drinks.
We loved the atmosphere of the place, but our waitress was terrible. Extremely rude and not helpful at all. Louis was our guy who brought out the bread and water and let me just tell you how WONDERFUL he was. He was the most kind man I’ve ever met. Unfortunately our waitress should have taken tips from him. He definitely deserved every tip she received. We will not be back. Unfortunately her attitude towards her customers was extremely uncalled for. For as much money as it costs you would think she would appreciate every customer she gets.
The food was excellent; filet was wonderfully flavored, Mac and cheese was great! Also friendly service, and of course the view is outstanding. Good time!
They treated us so well that my wife wanted to stay at the hotel.
I've been to the Eagles Nest a few times now and have had a great evening each time , so I thought we would go on Valentines day this year. I made my reservation about a month in advance and was prepared for a great evening. We made it to the Hyatt and met a very nice lady who told us to have a seat in the lounge and have some complementary Champaign until our table was ready. Once our table was ready we went up the elevator, which was decorated nicely for Valentines day. Once we made it to the restaurant our hostess gave my wife a rose and took us to our table. I thought we going to be seated in one of the nice booth type tables , but instead it was a small round table close to the center of the restaurant . I thought " no big deal" because it was Valentines day and I knew it would be busy. But the table was very wobbly. Every time you set anything down on the table it would move a lot , so I asked if we could have another table .they did move us to another small round table ,but soon after they tried to seat another couple at the same wobbly table .Our waiter came and took our drink order and asked if we would like some bread . We said yes and continued to order our dinner from a set Valentines day menu. our drinks came and I said we have not received our bread yet. Our salads came and still no bread , It finally came just before our entree's. We ordered the surf and turf for dinner and as they delivered our meal they dropped my steak. He said he was very sorry and that they would make me another one and I said no problem accidents happen , but it was only maybe a minute that he was back with my steak . I don't know if he just put it on another plate or they have them just setting in the back ,but at these prices it should be made to order. Finally it was time for desert . Thinking that it would be something chocolaty for two, we were disappointed to find that it was some kind of fluff and fruit paste. we also charged A mandatory 20 % gratuity for 2.
The environment and atmosphere of the Eagles Nest is nice. However, the food was mediocre for the price. Will not be returning.
It was Valentine’s Day! Great service and great food. It was a preselected menu but good variety and had a great time.
Very cool restaurant! Was definitely on the expensive side and not sure it was worth $99 per person for a 3 course meal. It was Valentines Day but that was a heck of a mark up. It was awesome watching the city and having a different view every few min. The cocktail I had was absolutely amazing!
