Very professional. Such a classy place! I had a great time
Had the Thanksgiving menu. Excellent food and cocktails! Signed up for Christmas! Highly recommend.
Our first visit to Dragonfly. We enjoyed the experience and the food. The service was great. We had reservations and so we got right to our table. Noise was not an issue We would go back in the future.
I was craving having a traditional turkey dinner before I went to work. So I made a reservation for 1 at the bar.
Restaurant wasn’t that busy, had a small number of guests at other tables. TV’s had the football game on silent which made good ambiance for me.
The turkey dinner plate was perfect. The turkey and skin was succulent and tender. The gravy well seasoned (I asked for more), portion size perfect, mash potatoes, green bean casserole and stuffing favorable and some of the best homemade cranberry sauce I’ve ever had. Compliments to the Chef.
Thank you for making my Thanksgiving alone a memorable day!
Birthday Dinner at Dragonfly was a great experience overall. The drinks were great, food and apps were yummy!
The restaurant was quiet and pleasant. Food was good, service was a bit lacking, tea was not refilled promptly, but overall a pleasant experience.
Ordered the 4 ounce filet and it was dry and had the characteristic of a cheap cut of beef. The pizza and garlic fries were pretty good. Overall, not worth the price and I don’t think we will be back
good wasn't very good. very disappointed that they had the dj by pool and wasn't allowing anyone over there to dance. that was the whole reason we had dinner there.
They only have one vegan option and that option was very thrown together. My friends food taste like straight honey and it made her stomach hurt. We were put in a corner in the back instead of the main dinning room which is why we wanted to eat here. The server took my friends drink before she was done.
Great ambiance and service. Server gave us a free dessert because it was a birthday dinner.
Also, server gave us a fruit dessert because one of us was diabetic.
The ambiance is nice. Trendy, Instagramable, etc. The food was good, nothing special, but good. I ordered the chicken sandwich, boyfriend had an omelet.
Feta Dip = YUM!
Food and service was excellent. The only downside was having to eat beside someone’s large dogs at another table. Eating next to an animal swinging his tail inches away from my food was not appetizing. I found that to be disgusting. Maybe for a lunch but not over my romantic dinner in the evening hours.
A must-see when in Dallas. Exceptional service from the Dragonfly bar waiter. Beautiful hotel.
Appetizers and desserts were AMAZING. We had the feta dip as an appetizer and the cookies and cream cheesecake and cappuccino creme brûlée for dessert. Staff was very chill and nice. The setting was very pretty and the overall vibe was perfect.
Wonderful brunch/lunch place to reconnect with friends - place is beautiful, food is delicious!
It’s was great food was great and the wine was perfect
Odd, goofy beach themed ambiance and very limited menu.
Awesome atmosphere and great food. It is a great place for a birthday event. I will be back. Free valet as well.
Overall pretty disappointing, food wasn’t great and service was okay. Expected much more for the price point.
We went for lunch and they used all frozen food and i was not at all happy with the food. felt waste of money and waste of Time going there
Great service. Friendly staff and amazing food. My girlfriend and I felt very welcome and taken care of.
It was supposed to be restaurant week but they said they weren't participating except the first week, bucatini pasta was drenched in tomato sauce and it wasn't even bucatini pasta, sea bass was overcooked and very small portion - margarita was terrible and really - a Dallas restaurant that can't make a good margarita is pretty sad.
Decor is great and that part hasn't changed.
Perfect date night!
Overpriced for mediocre food at best. Would not recommend.
Lamb and filet were wonderful !
Quiet and calming environment perfect for a nice date out with amazing food and restaurant facade!
The bar was very noisy, but our table was in the back room and was very quiet for our 9 pm reservations on a Saturday night.
The service was great, the food for DFW Restaurant week was an exceptional value and of very high quality. Since it was a 4 course menu, it was better value than most DFW menus.
Would definitely go back.
Service was awful. Disconnected and seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else. Food wasn't much better. Mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of the box and the couscous tasted like nothing. Everything was either under seasoned or under sauced which left us not eating hardly any of our meal. The server even seemed a little confused that we weren't finishing our meals, nor did we want a to go box. And yet she never asked if everything was okay, tasted okay or anything! We really had our hopes up with this being at Zaza, but we were more than underwhelmed and disappointed when we left...
Food was awful, no flavor. Service was poor, perhaps understaffed. The dessert, cheesecake in particular looked like it was just u wrapped from a store. Over priced and over rated unfortunately!
We always pick a different place for Restaurant week and we weren’t disappointed this year at Dragonfly. The food was outstanding, the decor and environment colorful and inventive, and the service was great. We don’t live in Dallas and this isn’t the easiest place to get to but would definitely go back if we had plans in the vicinity.
One of the Best Dinners in years. Loved the ambiance of the hotel! We walked down to the restaurant/bar area and it was full of pictures and statues from all over the world. Calming music played in the background. The restaurant was so inviting - comfy seating areas plus larger dining area in the back. We selected the first area overlooking a swimming pool complete with surrounding fountains - it also had a bar area. Our waitress was so knowledgeable about the dinner - knew the menu and made some suggestions which were appreciated!! Our dinner was fabulous! Wine excellent also! We intend to return again and try other excellent selections!
It was very nice, the staff was sweet and accommodating.
8/13/2021Service impeccable. Such a friendly, happening spot. Highly recommend!
Service was super slow, waiting about 30-40 minutes in between the courses, had to constantly ask for an update on our food. When I finally got my seabass it was extremely overcooked and rubbery and the cous cous had absolutely no flavor or seasoning, I had to exchange it for the lamb which was actually delicious when I finally got it. They said we took the last piece of cheesecake so I feel bad for anyone after me who only the choice of one dessert. My boyfriend called and asked several times for somethin special for my birthday but all they did was scribble happy bday on the plate with the cheesecake and when he asked about it, they server said, "This isn't Nick & Sams," so maybe that would have been a better choice!
From the start of when the waitress came to greet us, you could tell she was very overwhelmed. When asked how she was she voiced right away “very busy!”. She really didn’t come back much as I had to ask 2 other employees, I believe one to be a manager where our food was. The table next to us had a party of 10 and had sat down after us but received drinks and food before us. They received their check promptly and left before we even received our check. I really do hate complaining and I understand if the issues had to do with the amount of staff working etc. however, this wasn’t said to us one time throughout our visit. I wouldn’t have written this review if that would have been mentioned or any other issue there may have been
We dined at Dragonfly for an early dinner while we stayed at the Hotel Zaza. Our reservations had us seated immediately and we placed an order for cocktails from the extensive craft cocktail menu. As we enjoyed these, we shared the Curious Traveler, a sampler of lamb lollipops, crispy Brussels, and deviled eggs. For our meal, it happened to be DFW Restaurant Week and we selected choices from the four-course menu. The Summer Salad, Sesame-Crusted Ahi Tuna, and Half-Rack of Lamb were superb. We finished with the Cappuccino Creme Brûlée and another round of cocktails and left quite satisfied.
The service, ambience, and cuisine were all top-notch. I highly recommend Dragonfly for a fine dining experience.
will definitely go back to visit and try some new things. great for dates and ambiance, dress down dress up dress casual, all of the above. great place
