Although we were disappointed (but we totally understand) there was a limited menu due to COVID, our server, Tiff, was the BEST and made up for it. She was extremely personable and so much fun to have! We were celebrating our friend's birthday and she made sure we had a great time. We appreciated being in the wine room (I'm sure the other guests did too, we were having a great time in there). The host (I forgot his name, it was the gentleman with the sling on his arm) was also very helpful and even put the cake up for us upon arrival. We enjoyed our time there and will be back to see Tiff!
Aesthetically breathtaking with food and wines/cocktails that complement a diverse yet classic pallet. Will be back for sure!
Wonderful!
Took my bestie on a date here. Fellas all I’m going to say the bar has been set. Pros| Zaza’s is a wonderful place to sit, dine, talk & drink! The drinks are pretty exotic🥂. Drinks are $15 ,however, they’re strong as hellll so you definitely get what you pay for! It’s December and with TX weather being indecisive, you get the best of both worlds dining inside and out. Also! If it’s too cold, they’ll turn the heaters on for you. Fire always spices it up a little! 🔥Con| while processing our payments, my BFF and I did a split transaction and their system went down charging both of our cards two incorrect amounts and taking a business day to issue a refund (not that this was something they could control) I thought that sharing this would be helpful for someone who isn’t one for surprises. Beyond that 4/5 👌🏽
Good food, good service. We were at the hotel celebrating my mom's birthday, and decided to eat dinner here. They brought a delicious s'mores dessert to sing happy birthday!
The cocktails were delicious and the service was impeccable.
Food and drinks were great.
I loved the strawberry pie cocktail. Everything else was meh.
Fabulous way to spend Thanksgiving. Meal and service were both extraordinary.
Service was terrific. Deserts great. Food was just OK. Disappointed with the very limited menu. Almost pub like food.
Great food and atmosphere. Server was polite and courteous. Food came out as expected and without any problems or delays.
Great drinks and superb meals. The service is excellent, and the ambience is inviting.
I'm sorry the mayor of Dallas is making a political statement by keeping businesses down, the Dragonfly was amazing, I just feel sorry for the staff having to suffer do to political control.
Great place for dining but ZERO enforcement of social distancing and basic precautions for indoor seating
Went during a completely quiet time.
great meal, service, and one of the most eclectic hotels I have ever visited. Would love to visit again.
food was not up to what it used to be. Should consider alternate options.
I was truly disappointed in the food and the price of the meal.
A delightful experience with a charming server and excellent cuisine!
Along with a fascinating bit of entertainment being poolside!
went for restaurant week on September 6. The waitress said that restaurant weekended last Friday. We spoke to the manager and he mentioned the same thing that Restaurant week ended last Friday September 3. I Brought up Restaurant week website on my phone and brought up Hotel Zaza showing that restaurant week that hotel Zaza was participating in lasted thru Sept 13! The manager said the site was wrong he would get it corrected immediately he did not honor the mistake or try to compensate in any way or form. We still ended up eating there ordering off the regular menu the service was not a 4 star dining service it was more like chilis or a low grade family restaurant. Would never recommend any one to visit this hotel or eat at this restaurant. Management is bad service is bad and food is horrible as well.
Wanted to check out the hotel and participate in DFW Restaurant Week. We were concerned about how casual it was to start with (a 7:30 reservation with the pool still open), but the food BLEW us away! Had the petite filet-had to be in my top 5 ever!
They weren’t even open.
Great food, service and ambiance. A hidden gem at lunchtime. Will definitely be back.
Dinner w my daughter
Service slow. But waiter knew it and comped a dessert. We appreciated it.
Love it here!! Food and service is always amazing!!
Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy
Poor Service. Decent Food, However Shrimp Was Severely Charred. Beautiful Venue.
Great food and service!!!
We had a great dinner at Dragonfly. The shrimp/crab appetizer was very good, my redfish special was amazing as well as my daughter’s open faced steak sandwich. However my other daughter’s filet with loaded mashed potatoes was a bit of a let down. Very basic dish with a tiny cup of plain mashed potatoes with add ins on the side. No veggies? Also, Next time I want to sit in the main area bc the back room was nice but you felt separated from the overall vibe and energy of the main space. On a positive note, service was great and the complimentary valet was awesome! overall ambience was gorgeous and we definitely plan to return.
The staff was so careful with my food allergies and the food was delicious! Excellent wine selection as well!
Great food and ambience!!
I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was at this restaurant. I had never been there before and I will definitely go back. We had the spinach artichoke dip, and shrimp/crab appetizers. They were both so good I thought about ordering the shrimp/crab for dinner. I ended up getting the scallops and they were very good. The atmosphere was nice and you could actually hear each other talk!
Walking in I was not feeling it. The bread was really good, and the butter was under salted. The old fashioned was super sweet. The menu read really boring. My wife decided to go out of her comfort zone and ordered the shrimp and crab app. It was super spicy and addictive! We could not stop eating it. The salsa was flavorful and tomato forward, with a nice high heat. The caprese salad was nice. Again really flavorful tomatoes adorned with nice flakes of sea salt. My wife had the fish of the day which was well balanced and tasty. I had the lobster roll. It was good and I appreciate the Tabasco the pickled jalapeños and all the dressings with it. We also ordered the goat cheese Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were great, the hot cheese adds a nice funk and the parm adds a great salt level. Those are not to be missed. For dessert the creek brûlée was nice. They are heavy with the orange citrus which allows them to go heavy on the brûlée . This was a very tasty dessert not like others. It really celebrated the brûlée. Would do it again.
Had to ask for the real wine list. Solid options were available there to our great relief, but vintages were off on half the possibilities we inquired about. Sadly, we got seated in the bar area instead of the quieter back table area. TV in the background was not what we wanted for our anniversary. Food and service were super (chicken and beef dishes) because we made the most of it. Didn't hold up to the reviews we read. We went to Truluck's last year when we were in Dallas which was superior to Dragonfly.
I came here with my family on Christmas Day. The food was terrible and was like mush. Our servers forgot about us since we were located in a private room, and we were there for over 3 hours.
I will never go back or recommend this place.
We were disappointed especially since it Christmas I made a reservation through open table. When we were seated we passed all these empty tables and they took us to a small table by the door. The food was nice but not what we expected given the reviews. The service was really slow
The food was delicious, the service was spot on, and I am definitely going back! And soon since I am still in Dallas for client meetings :-)
Anniversary
The main bar area for dining was quite loud. The food for price value was not justified
