Really disappointed in the brunch here. The food was okay (nothing spectacular), but the drinks were absolutely terrible. The Bloody Maria was basically tequila in unseasoned tomato juice and undrinkable. I then asked for a Bellini which ended up being half peach schnapps rather than actual peach nectar. Sadly, we won’t be returning.
Fantastic drinks and the whipped feta dip is a game changer!
Awesome vibe, great food and amazing service!
Great service from the hostess, to the waiters, to the manager. We will come back!
Loved it! First time visiting TX and had a great experience so far because of this restaurant
Awesome Customer Service and the food was great!! I will return soon!!
Beautiful ambiance with tasty food and strong drinks.
We had the lamb lollipops, calamari, fish tacos, poke salad, and white wine. Everything was very good and service was good.
Overall good experience. The service was great for the most part. I am, however, not sure if they had a new chef or menu because I ate here 4 times over the course of 48 hours (breakfast & dinner) and each dish I ordered was missing an item or had to be sent back to be redone.
Menu was limited. Food quality was below average for the type of restaurant they are trying to be and their prices.
Loved the ambiance and the complimentary birthday brownie with “happy birthday” written on the plate.
Dragonfly has been a favorite restaurant for the last 10 years. With a Nice, simple and elegant menu followed by an incredible wine collection it’s a perfect night out for any occasion. The staff is always attentive but respectful. Thanks for another great evening Dragonfly!
Brunch menu is a bit limited but the food was good. Eggs Benedict was great except the English muffin was not toasted so it was rather soggy. French toast brioche was good. Omelet was good.
The service was very slow and sporadic. We had to track down the waiter several times. My drink was empty and not refilled until we were leaving. Lack of service didn’t really bother us because we were friends catching up after a long hiatus and no one was waiting for our table, but the service definitely could have been better.
Food was delicious and service was amazing. Had a wonderful date night with my fiancée, and we enjoyed the music and the vibe of the restaurant and hotel.
Service and food were amazing. Celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was great!
We enjoyed celebrating Father's day at Hotel ZaZa everything was great. We will be back
Great environment. Awesome staff. The food was amazing!!
Pretty over priced for what you get. The Deviled eggs and drinks were good. But the filet and the fish were definitely disappointing. Even the side salad was below average. Probably won’t come back for dinner. Good place for drinks and apps though.
Overall nice ambiance. Cheese sticks and drinks were good but fried chicken entree with brussel sprouts was waaaay to sweet. Creme brûlée was delightful!
Good people watching spot, good food, great service. Limited menu, but my Ahi Poke bowl was really fresh and tasty.
great healthy food and an amazing whiskey selection!
Great food and drink!
Horrible service. Food was good though.
Not sure, is dining room closed. Just seated in bar area amongst drinkers. Not a dining experience.
Loved the pool view and the service was wonderful. The brunch is the way to go - ample portions foe the price. I had the redfish and it was very good but priced accordingly. Best for a brunch!
Excellent service and food - my servers suggestion for how to request my salmon (medium well) was perfection!
Understaffed, long wait times. Simplified menu. Simplified entrees. This was our first time back since the pandemic began. Looks like they have not recovered.
Fantastic Mothers Day brunch. Excellent food and service. Very nice ambience close to pool!
Great experience, Ahmed our server was amazing. we will definitely be back.
The food was amazing. The service was great. I ambiance was gorgeous. I enjoyed every minute of my visit.
First time back in Dallas since the pandemic and I had to visit my FAVORITE restaurant. The menu has changed (No Fired lobster tails 😢) but the service hasn’t changed a bit
Nice ambience. Great service and the food was tasty.
I wanted to like this place so much.
As a Dallas resident, I've been to this bar and pool, but always wanted to eat dinner here as it is consistently ranked as one of the best restaurants in Dallas.
I will say the food was good, except for the doneness of my burger. My friends got the poke bowl, which they both claim is the best they've ever had, with generous amounts of fresh tuna. I got the cheeseburger, bunless, and side salad. The dressing was fantastic, salad was fine, burger was very well seasoned and tender, but very overcooked. And strangely plated- not sitting on top of lettuce, but not wrapped in lettuce either.
I gave it a low score mostly for the lack of atmosphere and our weird server. (And the overcooked burger).
The place was totally empty when we got there at 6pm on a Tuesday, which isnt a major complaint, but it didnt help hide the dated decor.
Our server's personality was dry as cardboard, and we had multiple interactions with him that were just bizarre and not warm or friendly. Giving him our order felt strange, and he seemed unwelcoming to any questions.
At one point, a bird flew into the restaurant from the pool area through a door they left open, and we pointed that out to him, (since its against health code to have a bird flying around your restaurant). His reply was "yes, that happens.", and he walked away.
With all of the new restaurants opening in uptown/downtown Dallas, Im not in any hurry to return to Dragonfly. Maybe the atmosphere is better on a weekend.
Everything was perfect.
It’s a cool spot with a good atmosphere and ambience. Food was also above par for trendy brunch spots. Service was a joke though. Took 5 minutes at the front table for anyone to even greet us. Another 10-15 minutes for them to take drink orders when we sat down. It wasn’t all that busy, and everything else was top class, so it was definitely confusing.
Great time. Great vibe.
Never got to the full experience - had a reservation for 9:15 and was told the wait would be 45 - 1 hour. The attitude was cocky and offered to see if manager would approve of a free drink while standing in bar, which never materialized. We left for Georgies on Travis street which was fantastic.
'PERFECT' would summarize our experience at Dragonfly. Our waiter was fantastic -- we ordered drinks to start and they were perfectly balanced in flavor, generous in size. The appetizer with the lamb lollipop, salmon and deviled egg was OUT OF THIS WORLD in flavor. We also had a flatbread -- all were delicious, beautifully plated and service was attentive but not hovering. We were there on a Sunday night - so very chill vibe. Highly recommend!
Bad experience - went for brunch and they were
Out of expresso . Mimosa warm and mini portion.
