Great food, service and ambiance. A hidden gem at lunchtime. Will definitely be back.
Dinner w my daughter
Service slow. But waiter knew it and comped a dessert. We appreciated it.
Love it here!! Food and service is always amazing!!
Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy Yummy
Poor Service. Decent Food, However Shrimp Was Severely Charred. Beautiful Venue.
Great food and service!!!
We had a great dinner at Dragonfly. The shrimp/crab appetizer was very good, my redfish special was amazing as well as my daughter’s open faced steak sandwich. However my other daughter’s filet with loaded mashed potatoes was a bit of a let down. Very basic dish with a tiny cup of plain mashed potatoes with add ins on the side. No veggies? Also, Next time I want to sit in the main area bc the back room was nice but you felt separated from the overall vibe and energy of the main space. On a positive note, service was great and the complimentary valet was awesome! overall ambience was gorgeous and we definitely plan to return.
The staff was so careful with my food allergies and the food was delicious! Excellent wine selection as well!
Great food and ambience!!
I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was at this restaurant. I had never been there before and I will definitely go back. We had the spinach artichoke dip, and shrimp/crab appetizers. They were both so good I thought about ordering the shrimp/crab for dinner. I ended up getting the scallops and they were very good. The atmosphere was nice and you could actually hear each other talk!
Walking in I was not feeling it. The bread was really good, and the butter was under salted. The old fashioned was super sweet. The menu read really boring. My wife decided to go out of her comfort zone and ordered the shrimp and crab app. It was super spicy and addictive! We could not stop eating it. The salsa was flavorful and tomato forward, with a nice high heat. The caprese salad was nice. Again really flavorful tomatoes adorned with nice flakes of sea salt. My wife had the fish of the day which was well balanced and tasty. I had the lobster roll. It was good and I appreciate the Tabasco the pickled jalapeños and all the dressings with it. We also ordered the goat cheese Brussels sprouts. The sprouts were great, the hot cheese adds a nice funk and the parm adds a great salt level. Those are not to be missed. For dessert the creek brûlée was nice. They are heavy with the orange citrus which allows them to go heavy on the brûlée . This was a very tasty dessert not like others. It really celebrated the brûlée. Would do it again.
Had to ask for the real wine list. Solid options were available there to our great relief, but vintages were off on half the possibilities we inquired about. Sadly, we got seated in the bar area instead of the quieter back table area. TV in the background was not what we wanted for our anniversary. Food and service were super (chicken and beef dishes) because we made the most of it. Didn't hold up to the reviews we read. We went to Truluck's last year when we were in Dallas which was superior to Dragonfly.
I came here with my family on Christmas Day. The food was terrible and was like mush. Our servers forgot about us since we were located in a private room, and we were there for over 3 hours.
I will never go back or recommend this place.
We were disappointed especially since it Christmas I made a reservation through open table. When we were seated we passed all these empty tables and they took us to a small table by the door. The food was nice but not what we expected given the reviews. The service was really slow
The food was delicious, the service was spot on, and I am definitely going back! And soon since I am still in Dallas for client meetings :-)
The main bar area for dining was quite loud. The food for price value was not justified
Pretty much underwhelmed with most of the meal. Made a reservation but no one was at the front desk when we walked in. I really wanted breakfast. After the waiter left and came back, he apologized and said they could only do their lunch and brunch menu. I said I understand and asked for a couple minutes to decide. The bread they brought was stale and hard.
I order the lobster roll. It’s okay but I ask for fruit and get fries. I can’t even tell the server because he never comes back. The worst part happens when I look over to see a family that got to the restaurant 15 min after us eating the dish I was told was not available because they weren’t serving breakfast. So needless to say I was pretty upset.
I can only assume he wanted to up sell us as all the brunch foods are much more complex and expensive. Either way....not great food either and even worse service. I’d steer clear.
Great atmosphere and beautiful place!
The food was quite good; service was professional if not attentive; the restaurant is beautiful. I would recommend it and would go back.
We had a blast celebrating Thanksgiving at Dragonfly! We loved the ambience, decor, friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious! We tried Thanksgiving menu: the roasted beats, mushroom soup, sea bass and turkey, and some cocktails. Everything was mouthwatering! It was our first time to try Dragonfly and we definitely will be back soon!
