Dinner at Doris Metropolitan – 11/10 Experience! We had dinner at Doris in New Orleans today and honestly, it was an 11 out of 10! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted. The Maître D' acknowledged our celebrations right away and seated us at a beautiful table. The service? Impeccable. Our server was personable, attentive, and made us feel genuinely celebrated (Mia/Maya). The food? Absolutely exceptional. We had the beet salad with polenta, the lamb chops, and the whole fish — every bite was perfection. Even the herb potatoes were a standout! To top it off, they surprised us with complimentary prosecco and sorbet to celebrate our special occasions. It was thoughtful, elegant, and just added to the magic of the night. Highly recommend Doris to anyone looking for an upscale, memorable dining experience in New Orleans. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

One of our absolute favorite restaurants! Ribeye was amazing, tomato salad always excellent and the grilled octopus was amazing! The service is exceptional. It’s always one of our go to spots in NOLA.

I had an enjoyable time with my wife at Doris Metropolitan. The experience is excellent! Doris have a great choice of menu options. Wine menu is exceptional. I can go on and on so I will end here. I look forward to my next visit!

I enjoy a good steak but wouldn't be torn up if I could never have red meat again. This restaurant made me rethink that stance. Amazing food and service. Highly recommended, and will be on our 'repeat' menu when we return to NOLA

I had the 31 day dry aged ribeye that was without a doubt the best steak I have ever had! Fall off the bone short ribs were also excellent. Great sides. Overall outstanding meal.
