A very nice dining experience tonight. We arrived a little early but were still greeted with a smile and seated immediately (there were several tables available). Our server, Jorge, was by soon after and remained attentive throughout our meal, allowing just the proper timing between courses, The clam chowder is excellent, the mixed salad a little disappointing in ingredients and presentation, and the main courses - shark, salmon, and prawns - well prepared and tasty, although the vegetable combo was a little undercooked. The desserts looked yummy, but we passed. Overall, two thumbs up for dining at Domenico's.

Calamari and clam chowder were good. For my main course I got the Cioppino. It was very overrated. It was mediocre. Service and ambiance were great but due to quality of the food I wouldn’t come back

The waiter and bussers were terrific and attentive. The view was terrific. The food was good, but not great. The chowder isn't the best on the wharf, but still tasty. Nothing tasted bad, and everything was above average except for the sole, I believe.

We felt so cared for & relaxed during our anniversary meal. Our adult beverages were mixed to perfection and our entees ( sole & prawn, artichoke, pasta) were so tasty. We took home leftovers but saved room for the terramisu! This is not our first dinner at Domenico’s ! I wonder why, yummy!

We have been to Domenico's before -- but circumstances prevented a return until now. We arrived a bit early for our 7:00 pm reservations and were seated immediately by a window with a nice view of the harbor. The service and food was just as good as we remembered. I had the bacon-wrapped scallops over risotto; my husband had the scampi bowl. Both dishes were excellent -- and portions were extremely generous. The wait staff was all very attentive without being obtrusive. We opted for separate desserts -- I had the amazing cannoli and my husband had the tiramisu. Be advised that parking can be a challenge; no cars are allowed on the wharf (wise move); but the nearest parking lot accommodates only about 12 cars. There is a parking garage nearby that is also pretty small -- with very narrow spaces. There is a pay station and also an attendant - pay as you leave - and take a short walk over to the wharf. This is a restaurant we'd definitely visit again when in the area; and can highly advise anyone looking for a great meal to consider while in the Monterey area.

My friends and I enjoyed our first time at Domenico's! They granted my request of a table by the window with a lovely view. Our server was so friendly and gave us the right level of attention. All our orders were delicious! I loved their clam chowder and fish and chips. If I had to take others around Monterey, I will definitely bring them to Domenico's :) I'm so glad I made the right choice!

My friend and I had a table by the window. Wen both had salmon. She had salmon cooked on a plank and served hot. I had salmon salad. They were both delicious. We enjoyed watching the boats filled with people go out whale watching. And there was a adorable seal swiming around. It was a beautiful day.

Loved our table by the window and we were able to see otters playing. Food was good and plated attractively. Service was very good. Host greeted us dressed in a suit. A very nice restaurant which allowed us to dine in our very casual clothes.

The service was excellent. The waiter was friendly, not overbearing. I was hoping more from my pasta with marinara and meatballs, the pasta was overcooked, and sauce was bland. The meatballs were good, tender, and moist but could've used a bit more spice. I consider the meal to be American- Italian, not true Italian cuisine.

We were greeted warmly at the front entrance and promptly escorted to our table. The wait staff was attentive. The food was delicious and the presentation was very nice. We sat by a window and had an excellent view of the harbor. We had the bacon wrapped scallops and fresh local white seabass. The seafood was fresh and delicious. Thoughts for future visitors: Monterey is a tourist town and weekends many businesses are packed. We went on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was not full and there were no lines.

Dark atmosphere at night with weird red lighting. Very loud. Food was salty, not cooked properly (mushy or overdone, no consistency), fishy in a bad way. Way overpriced for the quality of ingredients and preparation. They never looked up our reservation and just assumed their employee calling to people walking along the wharf is what brought us in. Waiter took the order and didn't stop back again until after a different employee had already come around with the dessert display. One of the most 'off' dining experiences we have had, nothing was enjoyable (from the food to the atmosphere)
