Awesome food and staff and the food and staff were awesome.
Unfortunate that valet is no longer available. I was also disappointed in your lamb chops. The original receipt with all the Greek herbs was so much better. The new recipe didn’t have much flavor and actually tasted more burnt then anything else.
lamb chops are worth a visit alone, and lovely ambience
Dio Deka is our go to favorite restaurant for special occasions and date nights. Food is always great. We always request Tony as our favorite longtime waiter. He’s always attentive to our needs, never rushes us to order and provides good conversation.
It was too loud, ambience was average, the food was just all right and it was extremely expensive. Would go somewhere else next time.
Attentive and friendly service. Food was very good. We were never rushed and service was well paced. It is a bit pricey though.
I definitely recommend Dio Deka. Delectable food, friendly staff and perfect ambiance! My friend recommended this place for my birthday and I am very happy with the choice.
Food was delicious, well presented and excellently served. Would highly recommend!
I brought my wife here for an Anniversary dinner and it was a great experience! The service was exceptional, the food was delicious (Both the NY Strip and Filet M cooked perfectly), mixed drinks were NOT watered down but savory and bold.
I will come back and recommend this place to others.
We had a group of 6 for a birthday celebration. It was a lovely warm evening so we were comfortable on the side patio. Our waiter forgot he took our order, so there was a slight delay, but no one was in a hurry.
I usually love this restaurant but Saturday, June 5 was an exceptionally busy night for the restaurant. We ordered our food and an hour and 10 minutes later our food came to the table.
Then there was the food, i ordered the the lamb chops medium rare and they came out rear I could barely cut through the lamb because they were so rare and my girlfriend ordered the pork chop medium rare which came out well.
We mentioned this to the waiter but for then to redo the food it would have been another 30 minutes.
The waiter comped our corkage for a exceptional a bottle of wine I brought to the restaurant which was very nice and considerate but overall the dining experience was just good. The restaurant is very expensive so I expect a restaurant of that caliber to hit on very good to exceptional food and that wasn’t the case.
I will be back but next time but next time it will be on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening..
Dio Deka is always great! The food, the service and the vibe. Richard is an amazing server! You won’t be disappointed.
The octopus was quite salty. The lamb meatballs were very dry. Specified for steak to be well-done but it was red in the center. Drinks were on point. Service was superb! From the host to the servers, everyone was so pleasant. I really wanted to like the food, but I think besides the assorted spreads, the food wasn’t very impressive. I’d probably come back for drinks.
greek standbys done perfectly. a bit pricey excellent service. very good wine list. attractive interior
but noisy. pleasant outside patios. definite repeat.
Not worth it. Proportions were small. Everything is a la carte. Sides were tasteless. Fish of the day was overcooked. Took the family for a special occasion. Nobody was impressed. Used to be good. Now don't bother.
Food was excellent, a bit overpriced for what we got but happy to support a local business.
First time at Dio Deka and we loved it
They call it Greek food I would say it is inspired by it
Simple menu yet rich considering the the mix of mains appetizers etc
If you look for complete Greek experience you would need to specifically ask for things that are not on the menu like Greek salad or Ouzo
Definitely worse the time and $$$$
Simply the best place to celebrate life in Los Gatos
Went here for our anniversary. The food was great. Service was awesome. Definitely will come back
We had another very positive experience there at Dio Deka.
The only thing that surprised us was the price of the bottle of wine that we thought we had ordered for $45, vs the $99 one that we were served and paid for after we questioned the final billing amount.
We will need to make sure in the future that what we ordered is what we are served and not have a surprise on the final bill amount. Thanks!
Our dinner was a bit pricey—and worth every penny! This is food at the very top level, and we’ll worth a special occasion. In addition, the service was outstanding—not intrusive and yet friendly-a hard trick to pull off.
I'll start with the positive. Our waiter was excellent.
Now the negative. The quality and portion sizes you receive are extremely overpriced!
The restaurant is also very loud! Hard to carry on a conversation. It's just not worth the money.
Haven't been to Dio Deka in a while. Joined friends there for dinner and was excellent, as always!
Great food and equally great service. Very enjoyable and relaxing
Great! Highly recommended.
Sadly for the money I have eaten at much better places. Food was good but not the wao factor you would expect from a place like this at this price. Madera in Sharon Heights is way better.
Everything was awesome
Beautiful family brunch on the front patio. Our server was great and the food very tasty.
We have always enjoyed dinning at Dio Deko in the past. The food and service has always been outstanding. This time however, the food was delicious but we had to wait quite a long time for our meals. It was close to 45 minutes from the time the removed our appetizer plates to when they delivered our main courses and that was after I asked how the timing was going. Two in our party were hungry and it ruined their dining experience.
I hope this was a one off as we would love to return to dining here but honestly we were all a little disappointed this time.
Dio Deka never disappoints. From the curated wine list to the perfect food menu and the impeccable service. This is why we return to Dio Deka time and again. It is one of our favorite restaurants and we look forward to returning again soon.
The riblet appetizer was AMAZING. Meat fell right off the bone and was sooo tasty
The lamb chops were OK, would have been nice at that price if a side came with it.
They were out of pork chops, crab cakes, and Spanokapita. The mousaka wasn't hot. Their Cusco Sour is all wrong - not blended and no egg. Their grilled octopus was fishy. And the bill was $60 a plate.
This was our first outing since the start of the pandemic and it was wonderful outdoor dining. We were relaxed and felt very safe at our table far from others. Our waiter Anthony was very helpful with both food and wine selections. It was a big celebration for us of anniversary and birthday and a raise for our daughter. All a lot of fun with good food and family.
First of our waiter was absolutely amazing, I forgot his name but he is from the northern region of Italy near Lake Garda. Super attentive, great knowledge of menus and ingredients. All his suggestions were a hit.
The food was amazing. Octopus, followed by Lamb chops, my wife had a whole fish which our waiter de-boned in from of us.
The wine was delicious.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary, we are really happy we went here that evening.
We will return soon, to try some of our our other favorites on the menu.
Food was not as good as it was on previous visits. Service was not great although waiter was nice. Table next to us was loud. Not a great experience, will be a while before I visit again.
Dio Deka is always a top choice of ours for special occasions. The food is always excellent and exceeds expectations, as does the ambience and the service.
Fabulous food and service. The octopus and salad were delicious. The cocktails were outstanding. Excellent restaurant and perfect for a special occasions
I knew it would be outstanding and surely was not disappointed. Dio Deka just takes the dining experience to another level. It was also fun watching the chefs, sous chefs and manager making sure each dish was perfect before going out. I left my glasses at home and our server brought out a box of readers!
