It was very nice to have the chance to visit Portobello again since their reopening in Burnaby. Friendly and helpful staff and very welcoming visit by the chef. Menu although limited has something for everyone. If you want to share starters it is a bit limited. Wine list decent and not price gouging. The Risotto and Short Rib were excellent. Feedback from those who had the Cioppino Di Mare was that overall good, lovely broth but the prawns and squid a bit tough. We really enjoyed our evening and hope to return.

The location is great and the food is top notch. This place is elegant and gets high marks for the quality of both food and service. The staff are excellent and attentive. This could be our new favorite restaurant on the north shore.
