We have been guests at Jeune & Jolie since its earlier days, and while we miss the weekend brunch option and would prefer an a la carte menu (4 courses min. is a lot of food), this is en excellent restaurant. Simply outstanding: tuna and veal first courses (raw). Excellent: Halibut (second course) and quail (third). A special thanks to the sommelier (sorry - should remember name) who really knows his stuff. I have heard a lot of wine descriptions that left me puzzled. Not here. Excellent guidance and descriptions to the point.

Delicious food, beautifully presented. I’m not vegan or even vegetarian but there were more delicious-sounding menu items than we could try, and all those we did try were excellent. Nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks along with local beers and a few wine options. Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent. We went in for the Date Night Special. It's the best deal in town. Victor, host and owner, is friendly and very gracious.

We heard a lot about restaurant and it lived up to the hype!! Food was excellent but a bit overpriced, as was the wine. But delicious none the less. Service was excellent! Phillip took care of us and was a delight! We had a birthday celebration and was happy we selected Steak 48 for the evening!

Newly remodeled, the much airier Tavern is all about art, music, and above all great food. Open for lunch and soon to include evening dining, the Tavern adds a distinctly Mexican/Pacific Coast set of flavors to the local fine dining scene.

We are located in the heart of the Cedros Design District, within walking distance of the Amtrak station. The style is casual with indoor and outdoor dining ( plus bar seating). The patio, which can accommodate 18 guests, looks out onto the shop-lined Cedros Avenue and can be separated from the main dining area for private events.

*Please note* Our restaurant welcomes walk-ins during our Lunch hours from 11:30 am- 3:30 pm.
*Tavern restaurant will be closed for dinner (Lunch will remain open Monday and Tuesday when the belly up is dark)

My wife and I went here to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. We were greeted by Chris the manager when we walked in and it was a great experience to have him welcome us and ask if we were celebrating anything special. We ordered the 3 course special and were both impressed with the quality and taste of our meals. We started with a wedge salad and the beet salad which were fresh and delicious. Followed by the filet mignon and sea bass - both perfectly prepared and incredibly tasty. Our waiter for the evening was Mel and he was super attentive and friendly with several great recommendations.

Pleasant surroundings with great food. Good service. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of food, atmosphere and service. The sunset was a little bright just prior to the sun dipping below the horizon and the shade was not able to dim the light. Also initially the air conditioning was on and the vent blew air directly on my head. I'm not too particular about temperature (unlike my wife), but had she been in my seat we certainly would have had to move. Just an FYI I'd highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or just a date night.
