If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would. We had the fried mozzarella, the meatballs, burrata alla vodka and the crab ravioli. The vodka sauce was the best I’ve ever had! The staff were friendly and personable, the restaurant was clean, and the desserts were just as tasty as the food!

Café Momentum is not a normal restaurant. Café Momentum is a non-profit restaurant that offers a locally sourced, chef-driven menu and serves as a culinary training facility for young people impacted by the juvenile justice system.

Café Momentum’s program teaches critical skills that allow youth to re-enter society in a safe, real-world environment of nurturing accountability. By participating in our program, the youth rotate through every aspect of the restaurant, from waiting tables to washing dishes, while working side-by-side with Chef Peter Henry.

Don't miss our famous smoked fried chicken served with mashed potatoes, ham hock collard greens, buttermilk biscuit, and black pepper gravy.

We are BYOB! $5/person corkage fee.

Food is first-rate. Service was excellent! (This is a career training program for at-risk teens.) Ambience was conducive to conversation - thank you! Excellent value. Prices are quite moderae. Will return again very soon.

Had dinner there last night and it was wonderful from start to finish. It was for my birthday and it was very special. The roasted red pepper homemade hummus was so good with fresh bread at the table. We ordered stuffed banana peppers and greens and beans as appetizers. Delicious. My entree was the bolognese! Wow! The salads were great. Our friends had the chocolate cake and my husband had the almond torte for dessert. We also brought 2 bottles of really good wine so our whole evening was perfect. Thank you

We always enjoy coming to the Rear End. We always receive great service from Ashley and Regina...they're the best. Always pleasant, makes wonderful drinks and just love their personalities. Food is always on point as well.
