About the restaurant
It began in April of 2019, the idea was to create a restaurant and provide an experience that locals and tourists alike would not be able to get anywhere else in the world. We already knew we had a view that was unparalleled, the thought was to create a restaurant that was on par with the view.

Entering the restaurant to your left is an open kitchen that will allow you to interact with our Chef's and see how your food is being made. Inside the dining room we built half-moon booths, banquets and tables that allow the customers to see all aspects of the restaurant in motion. Next up is a bar that is built directly against the windows to the patio, all 22 seats will enjoy an incredible view and feel like they are part of the action inside and outside of the restaurant. Once outside customers will enjoy a 1,000 SF patio that not only overlooks some of the best red rock formations in the world, but also puts customers right in the heart of Uptown Sedona.

Food was excellent! View is breathtaking! Staff were courteous, kind, and attentive. The sound echoes in the room so if you want a quiet, intimate dinner then this might not be the place for you. However, if you like energy and laughter then it will be a fun night!

This was a great restaurant with great views. We got smash burgers, ribs and a sushi roll. Everything was good. If you are hungry the ribs are pretty tiny for the price. Recommend overall. Also, they had a gluten free bun and the shoe string fries didn’t hurt my daughter’s stomach.

We had the special for the evening which was sea bass wrapped in prosciutto and topped with two shrimp. Green beans and mashed potatoes. The sea bass was delicious .. my husband like the prosciutto wrap; I did not. Green beans were too salty. The old saying "If you have to ask the price you probably can't afford it." Well, we didn't ask and it was expensive .. $78 each. In hindsight I would have ordered the 'regular' sea bass from the menu, not the evening special. The highlight was a WONDERFUL beet salad that was perhaps the best we've ever had .. pecans, strawberries, blue berries, apple, greens, of course beets, with a light balsamic dressing. Superb. We've been visiting Rene Restaurant at Tlaquepaque for years .. at least 15, and it's special to us. But as we get older, fixed income, we found it more expensive than we anticipated. Still love Rene's but don't know if we'll return should be be in Sedona again.
