We are a small operation with a single chef. Our goal is to have all our guests enjoy a romantic, peaceful, relaxing meal surrounded by our beautiful garden while dining on the best breakfast in Sedona! If you are not staying at the Inn, please stay in the restaurant area as the grounds are for overnight guests.
We allow children in the restaurant, but no special menu offered and must stay in restaurant area as they are not permitted at the Inn.
We are open for breakfast and brunch only. We do not serve dinner.
Breakfast everyday from 7am-10:45am
Brunch on Thursday - Tuesday from 11:00am-1:45pm
Currently offering Dine-in on our beautiful patio (Open only when above 50 degrees), in door dining room, Take Out, or Room Service. Reservations are held for 5 minutes - if you are running late, please notify us.

The "typical" American Steakhouse is dominated by a schedule, and guests expect food to be rushed to their table and eaten quickly. Here at Village Chophouse, we take a more relaxed approach. Plan for up to two hours, enoying a sit-down dinner where you can truly connect to those closest to you.

Our organic menu offers exquisite cuts of beef sourced from small farms in the United States such as Aspen Ridge, Snake River Farms, Cascade Creek and Niman Ranch. We also serve premium seafood and offer nightly specials. In addition to our regular menu our Chef creates a four-course tasting menu that changes monthly. The Village Chophouse always delivers an excellent dining experience. We love Chef John and his great staff. We are so lucky to have a Chaine des Rotisseurs restaurant in our neighborhood.

The food was fantastic. Started with the jalapeño humus. Loved it. Then had one of their tuna rolls. Also great. We split the mixed green salad. It was fresh and the dressing was drinkable, and even the half portions were huge. We finished with the filet. Split that too because we were already full. Filet was fantastic. Ordered it medium. It was crispy on the outside and a perfect medium on the inside. Carrots and mashed potatoes it came with were excellent. Service was fast and friendly. View from patio was awesome. Guitar player on patio was a nice touch.

The setting is beautiful, the ambiance terrific, the service exceptional, and the food keeps us coming back every time we are in Sedona. Appetizers, main course and drinks were all perfect. Just be prepared for a sizable bill at the end of a fabulous meal.

We had the special for the evening which was sea bass wrapped in prosciutto and topped with two shrimp. Green beans and mashed potatoes. The sea bass was delicious .. my husband like the prosciutto wrap; I did not. Green beans were too salty. The old saying "If you have to ask the price you probably can't afford it." Well, we didn't ask and it was expensive .. $78 each. In hindsight I would have ordered the 'regular' sea bass from the menu, not the evening special. The highlight was a WONDERFUL beet salad that was perhaps the best we've ever had .. pecans, strawberries, blue berries, apple, greens, of course beets, with a light balsamic dressing. Superb. We've been visiting Rene Restaurant at Tlaquepaque for years .. at least 15, and it's special to us. But as we get older, fixed income, we found it more expensive than we anticipated. Still love Rene's but don't know if we'll return should be be in Sedona again.
