We are a family owned and operated restaurant locate in beautiful downtown Wayzata, MN. McCormick's Pub and Restaurant features a cozy pub and dining areas, steeped in the Irish tradition of warm hospitality. We offer a unique guest experience that blends the best of traditional Irish pub fare, as well as Continental and Nouveau International cuisine that is made entirely from scratch by Chef Evan Lane and Sous Chef Quin Meyer and team.

We enjoyed every dish we ordered. The chicken/avocado arepa was very flavorful and would be perfect for a light meal. Our entrees (sea bass, pork chop and ribeye/chorizo) were cooked perfectly. My pork was wonderfully seasoned and juicy.

We love Miyabi! They have some of the best sushi in the Twin Cities and a great cocktail list. The people watching Downtown Excelsior is fun to watch as well. *Sit at a booth or on the outdoor patio, along Water Street.

We have been there a few times and there patio is so beautiful with golf course views. Food was great and the wings, salad and fettuccine were so tasty. Also the live music was so good. Highly recommend stopping out at Danny’s for dinner and drinks.

I had the grilled cheese and soup. This was no ordinary sandwich!! The flavor combination with the chili jam, apples, bacon, two different cheeses and such was amazing! I was scared to try it but wow. And the tomato bisque tasted so fresh and wonderful. My spouse had the duck confit. He was so disappointed he missed the duck breast, but he said the leg was tender and moist. Our server was kind, considerate and just plain wonderful.

Food is really good as always- it just gets a little annoying with them always trying to upsell their menu items. Especially when they have a special - they don’t bring you the special menu or even ask if you are you interested because they always want you to buy the most expensive thing on the Main menu. You have to ask for it - so to me, that’s kind of annoying even as a server myself . But food and ambiance is always really good.
