About the restaurant
Marino Ristorante is deeply rooted in Hollywood since the late 1950’s when Ciro (Mario to friends) Marino landed in Hollywood and has ever since had generations of who’s who in the movie, record, art, political and business LA community at his tables. Today it is still family owned and given its warm welcome flavor by the second generation of Marinos, Mario in the dining room and brother Sal in the kitchen.

The decor is modern and comfortable with memorabilia from a 60 year career which all come together to create its appeal. Described by many marrying the quintessential NY Italian in Los Angeles for its history coupled with today’s seasonal menu, highlighting the best locally sourced ingredients and top notch freshest seafood available.

Fantastic sushi. Great hand rolls. The rice with the Nigiri was good and the seaweed for the hand rolls were perfect.

Heralded as a "meat speakeasy" by Food & Wine Magazine, chi SPACCA has come to represent the quintessential new Italian dining experience, where accompaniments like the Foccacia di Recco, warm salted Medjool dates, and Culatello & Puglia burrata are just sideshows for the rest of Chef Armen Ayvazyan's wood-fired menu which features a 42-ounce Tomahawk pork chop, a 36-ounce dry-aged bone-in New York Costata alla Fiorentina, and a 50-ounce dry-aged porterhouse Bistecca Fiorentina.

Enchanted by the artistry of Italian salumi culture, we built the first “dry cure” program in Los Angeles so that we could experiment and perfect Italian charcuterie techniques in house.

Still my single favorite restaurant on Earth! If you eat meat, this is a temple. Their regular menu items are top tier, and the changing items are always creative, interesting, and delicious. The staff is the best I’ve seen in the industry, and the space is lovely and intimate. My only regret is that I haven’t managed to be in Hollywood on a Monday evening to try their burgers! I’ll have to remedy that soon.

First time here at this legendary place. Such a great vibe. Our server, Brian was amazing and offered recommendations on portions which was very honest and accurate. Portion sizes are big so save your appetite. Such an old school charm and unique Hollywood energy in this place. Will go back for sure next time in town.

Fabulous food for my wife’s birthday today. Our server made a great suggestion to get 4 appetizers and then 2 full courses of kebabs and it was plenty of food for 3 hungry people! Thanks for the wonderful meal and delicious desserts.
