13 Gypsies is a cozy, intimate Spanish tapas restaurant. You can also find the influence of other cuisines throughout the menu. Primarily utilizing Spanish techniques to prepare both creative and classic renditions of Spanish dishes, Chef Howard and Chef Kevan operate a true craft kitchen. The two of them prepare and cook most everything from scratch including breads, cured meats, cheeses, sausages, spice blends, pickled vegetables, and desserts. This practice of making nearly everything in house promotes waste-free cooking and higher quality food. Our wines are mainly from Spain, and our beer is Florida local. We are located in a two-story Spanish-style building built in 1923 by Henrietta Dozier, Jacksonville's only female architect in the early part of the 20th century. You will find eclectic, maximalist religious iconography adorning the walls and original floor tile. We have few tables, so reservations are highly recommended. Last seating is an hour and a half before closing time.

Great and unique flavors! Nice easy drinking wine. Great ambiance and service. We were a group of 4 which works out great, events a taste of each dish. You must leave room for the Tres Leches cake it is off the hook!! We highly recommend 13 Gypsies.

The ambiance is stylish while still being quite comfortable. Seating includes tufted leather booths, handmade wooden tables, a beautiful bar-height communal table, and an outdoor patio. Such a good service! You're made felt you're family. Yorgo gives great advise on food and wine and Maria is very welcoming. Food is authentic Greek and very good.

Generally we love the food and the outdoor seating but we were a bit bummed this go around that they don't have the outdoor lawn games anymore. We pick this restaurant specifically for that. Likely this will deter us from visiting any time soon.

Excellent Meal. Ambiance was great & our server was terrific. Food was awesome with a reasonable price. Great menu with lots of choices. My only issue is that it was somewhat noisy due to nearby tables but overall a great experience. Highly recommend it.
