Enjoyed ambiance and food. Quick dining experience since we were with a toddler but the restaurant was accommodating and sat us in a perfect place. Will definitely be back when we are back on the Cape.

From July 1st, 1957, there had been two owners of Pates, Cloyde Pate followed by the Gardner family of Chatham. Mr. Pate opened the doors to what would soon become one of Cape Cod’s most beloved restaurants. Once a cozy hamburger and ice cream stand, Pates grew to be a place of celebration, camaraderie, and community. From the bonds staff made during countless summer seasons, to the engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, and family gatherings, Pates has been a backdrop for exceptional moments and people.

We are honored to steward the next chapter of the Pates journey. A renovated space to create new memories and friends, Pates is still that very special place. With careful consideration, we have redefined this Chatham classic and are serving up an experience rooted in the best things in life: great food, good people, and lifelong memories.

Our family sat outside under the canopy which was very nice. The ambience is great. The food was good. Seafood was fresh but steak a bit over cooked for medium with no pink.

We were celebrating a friend's special birthday at the Landfall and it was all around great. Our table had such an amazing view of the water/boats, service excellent and food was great. We'll be back!
