This was our first visit. Old school dining like the Hilltop. Cozy ambiance and clean facility and restrooms! Staff was great and the food hit the spot! We’ll definitely be going back. Thanks!

We visited Toscana Forno not expecting too much but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and very generous portions. The best part was the great service by Amal and the rest of the staff. They really made us feel welcomed and made it a most enjoyable experience. We will return for sure!

G Bar & Kitchen in Swampscott provides a beautiful interior with dark, rich wood flooring, bright red chairs situated along the bar, and pale colored chairs, tables and booths along the opposite walls. Big windows let in plenty of sunshine to help increase the brightness and inviting atmosphere of the interior whereas friendly staff members make you feel like an honored guest at G Bar & Kitchen. Upon first glance at the menu, you will notice plenty of delicious options like the shrimp chow fun and gnocchi. You also have stuffed acorn squash, lamb rack, duck, haddock, veal chop and a N.Y strip to name a few. Great flavors and plentiful plates! We had the wedding soup, Tuscan salad with grilled salmon, and eggplant parm. Tracy our waitress was great and helped us with a take out order for the kids which they loved as well.

A delicious special of Cacio e Pepe with peas and tomatoes topped with skewers of pan seared scallops and grilled shrimp for me and classic chicken parm for my husband. Both excellent as well as the service. We decided to keep it local before our show in Boston, but felt like we were in Boston! So good.
