We had a few lamb curries and a butter chicken with a tandoori mixed grill, Out of the lamb dishes bhoona and dopiaza we all preferred the bhoona chicken butter chicken was very good and mixed grill was varied but tasty although we have had better, garlic nan good also we had chicken and a complimentary veg pakora which we couldn’t fault All in all a good and genourous portions meal and would go back.

First time eating here- and certainly won’t be the last. Fabulous market menu- great choice and food and service were excellent. Can’t wait to return.

Booked a table for 3 at No 16 restaurant based on the excellent reviews and we weren’t disappointed. Service was friendly and food was fresh, well prepared and perfectly seasoned. We had a great evening. Recommended.

Great meal as usual, tried the hot honey burger - very nice. Had a booking at the bar but it was very busy with the football on so was a bit of a struggle to eat with people leaning over to get served. Will be back but not bar seating.

At KELP we take our time to make sure the food that goes on your plate is a fresh and local as possible. We source our seafood to be specifically Scottish and sustainable. We pride ourselves on using local suppliers for all our food. The fish people supply our fresh seafood daily. Our bread comes from Soja bakehouse, a family owned bakery in Cumbernauld. Our meat comes from ABR butchers, based in Bearsden.
Our executive chef, Christopher Hutchison, creates amazing, innovative dishes to be enjoyed and shared with friends and loved ones. We now have an AA rosette for 2023/2024 to highlight his and the teams amazing work. We are located on Cowcaddens Road, just around the corner from our sister restaurant, Ardnamurchan Restaurant and Bar and a stones throw from the theatre royal. Perfect for a meal before a show. Relax in our modern, airy restaurant and watch the chefs work in the open kitchen. Our signature dish is our crab doughnut, you'll be amazed!

Second visit to kelp. Amazing fresh food and just so great knowing it’s all from our waters. The staff are fantastic it’s beautiful from start to finish. We will be back .

Amazing staff, well looked after by Freya and team. Chefs did an amazing job catering to my needs and I always feel confident coming here with such specific allergies. They make my food tasty with simple ingredients...thank you. My family get to enjoy the full menu which is amazing and tasty...im always jealous when their food comes out..they are ace with children and my wee always feels happy to be there, grown up venue but welcoming for families..Nice happy medium. As ever we will be back.
