Ugly Butterfly showcases chef Adam Handling’s passion for converting locally-sourced, quality ingredients into beautifully-presented dishes, packed full of flavour. Offering an all-day dining experience, the Ugly Butterfly bar uses trims and offcuts from the ingredients used in the restaurant to create delicious drinks and bar snacks. This bar menu will illustrate that there is no such thing as food waste, much in the same way that there is no such thing as an Ugly Butterfly.

Lovely friendly staff who made it an experience and it was great that it was also dog friendly. Lovely calm atmosphere with a great view. Afternoon tea was amazing with lots of different flavors/textures. Could eat 100 of the cheese on toasts! Would go back again and again

Afternoon Tea at the Harbour Loft on St Michael’s Mount is the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or complete a visit to this enchanting island. Head Chef Greg Milne has created a menu inspired by fresh Cornish produce to be enjoyed on our unique island setting, with sea views north and the backdrop of the castle to the south.

Precisely-cut sandwiches are accompanied by freshly-baked cakes and pastries; while traditional treats boast creative twists. Choose from an extensive selection of Tregothnan tea or add a little fizz with a glass of sparkling wine, produced in a Cornish vineyard just a stone’s throw from the Mount.

Lovely location but service dwindled as it got busier had to get up and ask for another coffee then up again for more jam and cream and had to get up yet again to ask for the bill Did had cash for a tip but decided it wasn’t to be given sorry

No matter who we asked for recommendations while we were in Cornwall, everybody mentioned Argoe. We were able to grab an early sitting and had a fabulous meal. 100% recommend.

From the moment we stepped in, the staff were lovely, helpful and very welcoming. The food was amazing, though very filling. :) You certainly wouldn't leave still feeling peckish. If we were in Cornwall longer, we would definitely go back.

Went here based off great reviews online and friends. It was good, food was nice lots of seafood options. Wine menu was decent. Service was excellent. But few things, there should be more included with a shellfish platter for 2 sharing at £64. A bit of lobster, some fresh homemade doorstop bread. It was GOOD, not excellent. I have had better for a similar price. Anyway overall, great restaurant, amazing location, fantastic service.

We were meeting with old friends before heading home to New York the next day. We had a bit of a hiccup choosing the wine but all was easily sorted out. The Negroni was excellent. All of the food, starters and mains were exceptional (maybe the wing/scallop skewers were just OK) and in particular the beef cheek papardelle was outstanding. We are a bit snobby about Italian food, living in Brooklyn, but this restaurant holds its own. Happy to recommend. We will be back.

Great meal, excellent service and good value for money, really enjoyed every aspect of our experience. Carbonara was excellent, mussel’s were a massive portion and plenty of plump large mussels. Keep up the great work.
