MacDuff’s Restaurant is a quaint Bahamian outpost that has been around for quite some time. It was originally known as a landmark for boat men to meet over a burger on the island. Daily Items include tropical flare like, our fresh caught grouper sandwich, sandwiches, salads and our famous cheese burger from paradise. With a pleasant, mellow vibe fitting of island life, the rustic chic appeal and exposed wood beams are designed to give patrons a relaxed island experience while enjoying the delights of American and Bahamian cuisine. Just had an amazing dinner at McDuff’s on Normans Cay in the Exumas, Bahamas, and it was everything we could’ve hoped for! The vibe there is so chill, perfect for a relaxing evening after a day out on the water. For dinner, I went with the Caribbean Bowl, and let me tell you, it was a flavor-packed delight! 🍲 The bowl came loaded with grilled chicken, savory rice and beans, fresh corn, tangy pickled onions, crunchy cabbage slaw, and creamy avocado slices. Every bite was a perfect mix of textures and flavors, totally hit the spot! I also couldn’t resist getting a side of fried plantains—crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside. They were the perfect complement to the meal! 🍌 To wash it all down, I opted for a virgin mango daiquiri. 🥭🍹 It was super refreshing with that perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and just look at that vibrant color! Topped with a cherry and a slice of orange, it was the ideal tropical drink to pair with the meal. If you’re ever at Normans Cay in the Exumas, McDuff’s is a must-visit. The food is awesome, the drinks are on point, and the setting is just what you need for a laid-back island experience.

Dress Code Policy: Resort Chic. Athletic and beachwear, baseball caps, flip-flops, Crocs, and slippers are not permitted. Ladies, elegant evening attire is strongly suggested. Gentlemen, collared shirts are required.

We opted for the 5 course tasting menu, with wine pairing and was delicious. Even had the Chef Di Cuisine visit our table at the end of the meal, which was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Rodrigue was our server. He was funny and information and provided great service. The view, the view the view. Beautiful white sand beach and pool looking out on a bay with turquoise water. Our food and wine choices were varied. Great martinis to start. We had the tempura shrimp and pumpkin bisque and then the surf in turf and the blackened snapper with a side of risotto. This restaurant is in ever way the equal of Chicago, New York or DC fine dining in terms of well-prepared food beautifully presented. It's a small island, so there were limited choices and a small wine list, but that did not detract. Can't wait to return. AND I am a very tough grader. I don't give high marks unless they are deserved.

We had the best meal of our vacation at Fish. The ambience, view and overall experience was top tier. I am pregnant and told the waitress this. She made sure my crab cakes were well done, and they were absolutely amazing. The Fried conch was the best we have ever had. We will def be back the next time we visit Atlantis.
