Cafe Sydnie Mae is hands down the spot for the best food, top-notch service, and killer entertainment in South Louisiana! We've tried a variety of their entrees and desserts, and each one has been a winner. And the live music? Absolutely fantastic! Absinthe Minded totally brought the house down with their awesome performance!

One of our faves. We enjoyed a great lunch with a group of friends. We had a variety of apps and entrees and shared two wonderful tiramisu desserts. A shout out to Mandy for great service.

Very good food and service. Had the crab cake , corn bread pork belly andouille eggroll .blackened redfish ,and blueberry bread pudding . Some of the best food I’ve had at a restaurant in a while . Highly recommend . If you in the area you MUST check this place out .

We had an amazing dinner. The server, Trinity, was helpful, attentive and new exactly what to suggest when questioned. The ambiance was wonderful and the food was delicious. Absolutely worth the price!

This was an amazing experience! The food was five stars and the service was the best I’ve had in this area! The head chef Sullivan Zant blew us away with his flavor combinations. We started off with a whiskey cocktail, the Dick Whitman which was superb and very whiskey forward. Next was oysters on the half shell from Prince Edward Island which were wonderful and briny. Small plates of warmed olives with hints of citrus and focaccia bread with whipped feta. This was a perfect segway into our mains of a whole Branzino fish and shank of Lamb. Both were off the charts and cooked to perfection. Absolute 10/10 for food and service. It’s a must do if you’re in the Lafayette area!

Incredible Date Night Experience! This was our first time dining at Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and it was outstanding from the moment we walked in. We were warmly greeted and seated in a cozy, well-spaced area that gave us just the right amount of privacy for a romantic date night. Our server, Reese (aka “Reese Pieces” 😄), was phenomenal! He was patient, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took his time walking us through the menu and even pointed out some great off-menu options. We never felt rushed — just truly welcomed and taken care of. The food? Absolutely incredible. We started with the veal ravioli — it was so rich and flavorful it could’ve easily been the star of the meal. For our main course, we went with the Porterhouse for two, along with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Everything was cooked to perfection — the steak was massive, tender, and bursting with flavor. My wife had the lemon drop martini and loved every sip! This was a truly memorable experience. The service, the atmosphere, the food — all top-notch. Reese went above and beyond to make sure our evening was special. Ruth’s Chris is officially our new go-to for date nights!
