Diego's Cantina and Tequila Bar
This was a random find to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The drinks were well mixed and the food portions were nice. You get a nice portion for your money and all the food taste great. I definitely plan to visit this location again.
The chips and all of our meals were drenched in salt.
Food and drinks were amazing as usual!!! We were seated right away, our waitress was a bit distracted it wasn’t really busy but I ordered some extra salsa and an appetizer it never came I asked again for the salsa she brung it I told her to forget the extra appetizer and just ordered my main course.
The food was tepid. The beans were flavorless and the rice was undercooked. The waitress was very kind, but seemed overwhelmed. She was slow to wait on us, although apologetic. She got my meal order wrong . I asked for mole sauce and she brought me green salsa. When I pointed it out, she said she thought I asked for green. I asked for a side of mole. I was more than 1/2 way through my meal when she finally came back and said they were out of mole. I find that hard to believe and think she just forgot it. I then ordered a second regular margarita and she brought me a mango. I liked it, so I didn’t send it back, but pointed out it was wrong because my date wanted to order the mango margarita, instead of the original he already had. She then blamed the bartender for the mistake, when it is clear by the appearance of the drink that it was not a plain margarita. She should have noticed that when she picked it up and corrected it, if it was the bartenders mistake. We tipped her 10%. Which I think is appropriate given the circumstances. The drinks were delicious.
Great service and the food is consistently good
Went to Diego's during the holiday to see their over the top decorations. So fun! They seemed a bit overwhelmed at the time. They ran out of dinner plates (??). How does a restaurant do that?? Food was just ok. Chips not great and the margaritas were weak at best. Oh well, got some fun pics anyway and hope they do it again next year!
Great! Wonderful food and atmosphere!
Great margaritas & food!!
Food is always very good, taste fresh. The service is quick!
Fresh food and a great value!
Our reserved table was in the back. Could barely hear the music we came to see. Waitress didn’t understand our order. Took forever to get a drink. The drink I asked for was awful. The food was bland. We never got the salsa and chips we asked for. The bathrooms were disgusting...the list goes on and on.
Excellent service and food. I would recommend highly.
Food and drinks were awesome ! First time there and will be back !
Not a good experience. We intended to dine outside, but, at the time we arrived, the restaurant was hesitant to sit anyone outside for dining under the stars since there had been a smidgeon of rain and it was very overcast. Persuaded to remain and eat inside, we had a good meal, the salmon dish was excellent. We thought our server had been reassigned or finished a shift. We got less and less attention. The time it took from when we finished our meal until anyone came to our table so we could get a check was unacceptable. It soon became apparent that our server was waiting on tables outside, as the sun had broken out slightly. Rub salt in the wound by opening up the outside tables, never offering to move us outside, and reassigning our server to outside tables so we could be ignored. To top it all off, the restaurant reported us to OpenTable as a no show, causing more aggravation. They need better organization and preparation for dining under stars.
Excellent service and the food is consistently good .
Excellent food at a great price. First time there for lunch and will be back.
it was uncomfortably hot, though they did put on the air-conditioner when we complained. It took a while to cool off. Service was not bad, but not great either.
Good food wonderful staff.
Delish!!! Hot sitting by the kitchen though! Fajitas and tacos were great! Frozen margaritas weren’t soo frozen due to the excessive heat but they had a great flavor!
Mike was our waiter and was great! Made wonderful food suggestions that we all loved. Only downside was that we were seated in the very back of the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was a very hot day and the air conditioning did not reach where we were sitting. We were also next to the bathrooms, which smelled! Thankfully, Mike was able to provide us with a box fan once our food came out so we could tolerate the remainder of our dining experience. I would have thought that given how far in advance we made our dining reservations, we would have been given better seating. Or, that the restaurant would have an air conditioner in place that provides a comfortable atmosphere for all of their guests no matter where they are seated.
We ate at the one and only outdoor table, and I’m glad we did because the air conditioning was broken. We were seated immediately but had to seek out a waiter after we waited for 15 minutes and no one came to the table. I did enjoy the little outdoor nook, and the hostess was excellent.
The food is nothing more than average. It wasn’t bad. It wasn’t good. We had tacos and a burrito. Complimentary chips were tasty but there is nothing that would make me go back.
Fabulous margaritas, chips were delicious and the tacos amazing!
I had reserved an outside table but when we arrived, we were told that the two tables had been taken by people at happy hour and the only way to get them would be to tell those people to leave. The manager said it was his fault for saying outdoor seating was an option, and gave us free guacamole and chips (which weren’t good at all). We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, by the kitchen. It was hot and extremely noisy. The food was ok, drinks were pretty good, but overall I was not happy and probably won’t go back.
Food was very good. The noise level was pretty high. I had a hard time hearing anyone
Food was soggy and had little flavor - guacamole tasted worse than a grocery store brand - was 8 dollars for a cup size - outdoor dinning was fun but street had manny restaurant options- good place for drinks but go elsewhere for food. Meal was very overpriced for what was served.
Not great. Food so so
Food was delicious with big portions. They ran out of shrimp so I was a little disappointed. Service was poor. Waiter neglected table and charged us for the previous tables bill and I still have the charge on my debt card. Other than that, great food with great prices and nice area.
Went there for Media's Dining Under the Stars. The food and drinks were excellent. I'd especially recommend the empanadas. The service was a little bit slow, possibly due to the larger crowds for outdoor dining. Overall I would recommend it, and I would eat there again.
Service was good and friendly. Food was lukewarm at best. Meals came out over a period of 15min and took almost an hour.
Great way to celebrate the eve of Cinco De Mayo with food and drinks! Our waiter Mike was great!
Too noisy to have s conversation. The nacho chips were floppy with grease and the host asked us if we’d were ready for a takeout container before we were halfway through our meal.
Great food and drinks. Service was bad
Never got food or chip/drink refills after 1 hr; walked out.
The food was overpriced and was not as good as expected. The queso fundido, which I order every place that I eat that offers it, was terrible. If looking for mexican eats, I would head to Hidalgo's down the street. Authentic every time. The food was also overpriced-ordered the $22 shrimp dish. Admittedly their queso blanco was pretty good, but I just feel like their food was nothing special.
Amazing selection of tequila and Mexican food!
Waitress was rude. It took forever to get our drinks refilled (we had to wave her down for service). & the food was cold. Safe to say we’ll never go back!
Margaritas were great! Food wasn’t great, felt like they ran out of chips and some other things so were “improvising”. Could have been an off night but everything was very slow coming out and was hard to get service.
We had a very relaxing experience. We enjoyed our drinks, our food was not rushed out so we had time to enjoy our drinks first. When the food came out all was delicious
The food was great. The waiter was knowledgeable. The hostess although was unorganized and looked overwhelmed.
