Owner Brian Piccini is proud of his award-winning Restaurant & Bar, Deuxave in the Back Bay. The inspiration behind the restaurant’s American Nouveau Cuisine is seasonality, with a focus on working with the finest farms and purveyors, sourcing out the freshest, local ingredients and amplifying their magnificence. The cuisine is strongly rooted in the nouvelle techniques of contemporary French cuisine, married with the splendor of American ingredients in a refined, but casual setting. Deuxave’s (pronounced doo-ave) name plays homage to its location at the corners of Commonwealth Ave and Massachusetts Ave.

Perfection. Elevation of dishes. Exciting, creative surprises. Always with the feeling of eating food fresh from the garden just out the back door. Lovely service. Can't say enough good things!

Sunday anniversary date night. We were sat next to a family with bouncy children despite their being an empty dining room with plenty of open tables. Waited with empty cocktail glasses and empty plates on the table for longer than we should have on a slow night. Decent meal but absolutely 3 stars. Everything about our meal and experience was 3 stars. Maybe try a Friday or Saturday night because the Sunday crew is the B team.

We did the chef's tasting menu. Not inexpensive, but well worth the money - amazing food for every course! Service very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend for a special night out.

We sat outside on a warm summer evening; the atmosphere was causally comfortable, and the food was extraordinary. Service was relaxed and jovial. Will make a point of returning.

A wonderful date night for sure. The staff was attentive, personable and had the knack of being there just when you needed them. The food was artful and full of many flavors. Combinations of ingredients we would not have considered, yet delightful to consume. The only aspect I would adjust would be the music in the background. A bit “aggressive” for the vibe and ambiance of the setting. Would certainly come here again. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
