Good service and atmosphere. Drinks were well made. Food was good but not really great. Prices definitely $$$. I let them know, when we arrived that it was our 55th wedding anniversary, not that week, but that night. I was disappointed that they didn't offer a small dessert to help us celebrate.
The pork-belly scallops were exquisite
Great restaurant to eat Mexican food with your date. Excellent quality of service, the food is exquisite!! I’ll come back anytime possible.
The dishes are always interesting and offer a thoughtful pairing of flavors. They provide options for diners who are more interested in vegetables than a big slab of meat although there are certainly options for meat lovers as well. The service is always exceptional.
If you are nervous about COVID, go early (5:00 pm or before) and there are far fewer diners. Downtown dining would not be the same without this restaurant so do try to patronize them if you can.
Food was incredible! We were out with our kids for a dinner night-casual folks in a classy place. Low lit, quiet ambiance. Anything on the menu is worth a try!
Food was excessively decorative. I ordered what I remembered as a delicious hamburger, but had to remove a bunch of decorations to get to the burger, and then it was just so-so. Sorry to be so grouchy. I have usually liked Del Alma. I’ve noticed that in these COVID times most restaurant food has gone downhill.
Our lamb dish was outstanding; great flavors without being overly spicy. The dips/tapinades for the bread were a wonderful variety. The creme brulee was the best! Wonderful ambience; fewer people, with social-distancing was actually appreciated. It made for a quieter environment. Our service was attentive without being intrusive. It was a wonderful birthday dinner. Highly recommend Del Alma.
Del Alma remains my wife's favorite restaurant in Corvallis, and with good reason. We just wanted a quiet birthday celebration for her, and were pleased to find the staff acting with meticulous care during the continuing pandemic. Plus, as ever, the food and service are just as outstanding as they've been each time we've visited.
We love DelAlms. It is our favorite place to dine in Corvallis. It never disappoints.
We had the best waitress - friendly, knowledgeable and super fun!
Consistently our favorite restaurant in Corvallis.
Very happy that the restaurant has re-opened. It's our favorite place in Corvallis.
The prawns, the fillet mignon, the lamb and the grilled chicken were awesome! The server is super courteous and tables were spaced apart far enough that we felt "safe" during covid time (we sat indoor).
Second time coming here. First was pre-covid. My wife and I came for our anniversary and were disappointed with the menu options or lack there of, as well as the high prices for what we saw on tables around us as far as food portion sizes.
We also had a 7pm reservation and seemed this was the beginning of the dinner rush. We were seated quickly but waited about 10 min before anyone approached us and brought anything to the table, including menus. We ordered just an appetizer to just get something. After waiting for some time, this $17 appetizer was a few chips with maybe half an avocado and a couple bites of fish. This added to our disappointment so we kindly paid our waitress who seemed overly busy as even getting her attention and paying took some time. I would like to go back as our first experience was amazing, but overall we were very disappointed with this attempt.
Great food and service. Awesome cocktails
We have celebrated two family birthdays at del Alma in the last week. Both times it was wonderful. We are so glad that the restaurant is again opened. It is a treat to dine there.
Great place from start to finish.
We are new residents of the building. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Del Alma. Very tasty indeed, fun conversing in Spanish with our waitress.
There are so many good offerings, it is hard to choose. We ordered tapas that we shared and everything was delicious.
Menu not as large as I remember. Was hoping for some more interesting choices. The restaurant has not been reopened long since Covid........so not the same buzz and excitement I remember. All in all a good meal. Good service.
We were branching out and trying a restaurant that is new to us. We were very pleased with what we found. Del Alma staff were very pleasant and welcoming...though masks do make it hard to hear what is being said. We shared a couple appetizers among the 4 of us and enjoyed them. We each had a salad and were happy with both choices. The guys had Carne Asada which was very good. I had the lamb mole, which was amazing. The little explosions of pomegranate where refreshing and tasty. The other lady had the prawns and Dungeness crab and seemed to enjoy that. For dessert there were 2 key lime pies, a creme brulee that my husband put near the top of his lifetime list of those! I had the chocolate torte that was more chocolate, then torte. Perfect. We had a very enjoyable evening with friends we had not been able to spend time with for awhile. We felt very comfortable catching up and enjoying a wonderful meal, all at the same time.
Great place to have an intimate dinner with you special someone or good friends.
Our granddaughter is gluten intolerant and our waitress (Rachel) went out of her way to accommodate. Everything was delicious!
The best fine dining in Corvallis! Great food and big portions. Great service!
It was my first time back to Del Alma since the pandemic. The food was excellent as was the service! We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and she enjoyed being there. Del Alma never disappoints!
A beautiful restaurant. Very classy. The food is very good, although $47 for the size of filet mignon I had is quite steep. The bar, where we had an after-dinner drink, is very comfortable, quiet, and classy. All of the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely go there again.
High praise for the chef's shrimp tacos and the scallops with roasted pork belly, which we always seem to order as starters -- they are that good. I'm a big fan of the beef tenderloin pinchos, cooked to order, while my husband likes anything with the chef's mole sauce, and also spoke highly of the chicken dish. This is the only place where we order cocktails - they are very well crafted and reasonably priced for such drinks. The servers and hosts are extremely well-trained and Del Alma as a venue is very attractive and welcoming.
Absolutely everything, from the attentive and friendly service, to the delicious and well prepared food and great drinks was A+. A really wonderful and memorable meal!
Dinner was not what was expected. I did not like my dish and was clearly not eating, waitress never once offered to take off the bill or offer dessert on the house. I think since no one has been dining, they will take what they can get.
Everything about our experience was fantastic. Food and cocktails were perfect. great date night spot
We love Del Alma! They have the best cocktails in town and we are long time regulars. Food, service, and setting is lovely - it is our go to place for casual tapas or a nice night out for an event. My only suggestion is the menu doesn’t change that often.
Love their happy hour olives and bread, dips with a nice bottle of wine. Then usually a few Tapas. Wonderful evening as always. Happy that they are reopen.
I can't wait to go back!!! My only issue is that it isn't open for lunch (yet?). The food was excellent, the ambiance outstanding and the service exquisite.
We were there for opening night (after 4+ months), as were so many loyal patrons eager to savor the chef's dishes again. The taco tapas are always fantastic, and the scallops with grilled pork belly scrumptious. My husband praised his lamb mole, and I enjoyed the prawns tortilla with lovely spring greens in a cream sauce. The Mexican chocolate torta was heavenly. Kinn's cocktails are sublime. Tables were very well-spaced, and service was exemplary.
We had a wonderful, relaxing date night at Del Ama and would definitely eat there again and recommend. The ambiance was warm and easy, the service superb, and the food.... well, absolutely delicious.
Delicious meal, great service. The queso fundido is on the bar menu, served piping hot in a cast iron skillet with black beans, melted cheese, salsa and chips. Yum. Also got Prawns in Crema which is a really pretty dish, lots of veggies and delicious.
It was wonderful, I will be back and tell my friends about this. Thank you.
sufficiently socially distanced tables. did not feel worried about eating indoors.
The food is refined, original and delicious. The vibe is relaxed and subtly opulent. The service is outstanding, I felt like my waitress was a long time friend by the end of the meal.
Exceptional food options for vegetarians. There were so many options for delicious sounding vegetarian dishes that we couldn't try them all.
