My fiancé and I enjoyed Davini’s for the first time on our anniversary. We may have found our new favorite Italian spot in Greenville. Food and service was spectacular. The ambiance was very enjoyable as well.
My husband and I had dinner here last night to celebrate his getting a new job. The food was wonderful and service was perfect. The waitstaff suggested a bottle of wine for dinner that was so good! Reminded me of being in Italy! We are from Atlanta but will be coming back when we are in town again. Thanks for making our night special!
Very good Italian and consistent !! Good wine selection !!
Love the food! Such great service! Highly recommend
Great spot best Italian in Greenville. Osso Buco and penne a la vodka all great choices. Mussels also great. Service was great. Will go back
It was crowded and noisier than usual but the food was outstanding and the ambiance enjoyable. Definitely one of our favorites.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was very good. Especially liked the Mango sorbet. Will definitely return.
Our dining experience was lovely, service and ambience very pleasant. But the dish we went there to enjoy, the osso buco, was not what we remembered. The last time we enjoyed that meal there was well before the pandemic. Maybe they've had to hire a new chef? It was still pretty good, but not the exceptional dish we hoped to enjoy again. It does seem like their menu has expanded. There are more attractive alternatives than we remembered from our last visit. So, maybe we'll go there again, and try something else. Then again, it's a long way from home, and not inexpensive, so we'll see.
It was our first time here.
The service and atmosphere was amazing.
We had chick park, catch of the day, tuna, and French onion soup. Everything was brought out on time, presented beautifully, and was delicious.
The price was very fair and the chef is great here. We will definitely be returning and Davani’s will be part of our normal restaurant circuit from now on.
First time here and it was great! Very traditional Italian Restaurant and by far the best I’ve been to in Greenville. Owner was super friendly and Spring was a great Waitress. Will be back again!
I am not from the area. But as a visiting Italian, I thought the food was reasonably good. The veal Parmesan was outstanding, the duck perfectly cooked, and the crab cakes well prepared. The raviolis were just okay. Overall I think the food is good but the price point is very very high. It lacks the finesse I usually expect from a $$$ Italian restaurant. That being said, this might be a stellar experience for the Greenville area. Waitstaff was wonderful.
Consistently good! Service is wonderful.
Best Italian In Greenville
Our table was in a quiet area by the window and the noise level was very low. The food was outstanding, along with the service. The owners and staff do a great job! Oh, let’s not forget the chocolate mousse dessert - so..... good!
It was the first time visiting for our friends and they were very pleased with the food and service!
Quite possibly the best Italian food I've ever had (and I've been to Italy).
Since we are restaurant people this was our post Mother’s Day dinner out. Davanis has always been a favorite and it was great to relax and have a great meal. Our first one inside a restaurant and it felt completely comfortable. Hopefully the first of many more.
Wonderful experience for birthday & Mother’s Day celebration. We ordered four different entrees and all were exceptionally good. I would go back just for the ultra-fresh and we’ll-done wedge salad! This was our first visit but won’t be our last.
Fantastic as always. The lamb was incredible.
Fantastic menu and "features" (specials). Michelle took care of us with great attention and personal care. The food took a while to come but it was worth the wait!
The food and basiltini were amazing, Jennifer was top notch at making sure we had what we needed, and the tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely going back SOON!
Nice menu; good food; paired wine choices; pleasant ambience.
Always have the best experience here. The best restaurant in Greenville by far! The service is wonderful and the food is very good.
As always, a great dining experience. The veal Oscar was delicious; service was great; atmosphere warm and welcoming; one of our favorite downtown restaurants!
Nice for a relaxing dinner
Service is outstanding and the staff knows their menu and wines
Wonderful find in Greenville, SC! Restuarant has been around 13+ years, serves authentic Italian foods, excellent ambiance and waitress service.
Nice dinner. The scallops were yummy and the Ahi Tuna with risotto was very good.
Wonderful except the restaurant told Open Table we were a no show when we were. NoT. Still a Ten
Had a delightful time
Excellent Italian restaurant, good menu, good wine list, intimate atmosphere, reasonable prices.
Me and wife are big fans of Italian cuisine. When we arrived at the restaurant we were impressed by the ambiance and overall aesthetic of the place. We had the stuffed mushrooms as appetizers and they were delicious. The portions sizes were reasonable, because we were able to enjoy our main entree’s and dessert and not feel stuffed but satisfied 👌🏾. We definitely would go there again.
Wonderful meal and service. We have lived in Greenville for many, many years and this was our first time at Davani’s. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!
It was a great first time. Sometimes the server can make or break the experience....our server was relative dull. Didn't laugh at any jokes, didn't make any recommendations, didn't really engage in us. But everything else was good.
Oysters Rockefeller was over cooked. But overall our dining experience was very good.
Staff was very friendly, food was great and the atmosphere was perfect.
I picked this restaurant last minute for my wife’s birthday. It was a pleasant surprise. The ambiance, service and food were excellent. I highly recommend them. We will be back!
With the locale in a strip mall my expectations were low. But Davani's is really worth visiting. The decor is classy giving an excellent ambiance. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The menu had lots of good choices but my husband and I both tried the specials. Rarely have I ever been so pleased upon tasting halibut and its accompanying vegetables. The flavor was outstanding, so fresh, so rich I felt the chef was only preparing one meal that night and it was mine. The combination of flavors was so delightful. I can't wait to return and see what other dishes they have to surprise and bless my palate.
Great experience especially for a date night. Great customer service and would highly recommend
Our group of 7 enjoyed dinner in the room at the front, right of the entrance. We were the only ones in this nicely decorated and quiet room (loved the collection of Marilyn Monroe wine bottles 😉) The ambiance was wonderful, the waiter provided great service, and the food and wine was delicious. I look forward to the next time I get to enjoy this awesome restaurant!
