John (Jon?) was an excellent server. We got a mix of deeeelish seasonal / featured items and some tried and true items off of the menu. Fabulous decor, service, unreal food and such a classic neighborhood bistro!

The atmosphere, service and food are always outstanding at Avanti. Knowledgeable staff never rushes you through. Food is always exceptional, and we had a nice guitarist playing nearby.

The atmosphere was nice pleasant lots of natural light! All the apps were better than the pasta! The pasta was fresh but as Texans we definately added red chili flakes and chili oil. The sea food salad was our favorite, the carpattio app was good but it has too much garnish and the meat didn’t shine through! The little arancini rice ball were very good because it was freshly fried. The beat hummus was light and refreshing! We went in the Prix menus and it was a great value. The service was amazing all employees were genuinely kind and attentive and knowledgeable and not pushy in any items. Lastly we had the limon dessert the Amalfi it’s amazing and will keep be coming back to this place!
