I started with a Mexican martini that was perfect. My husband also liked his margarita. At the waiter’s suggestion, we tried the queso flameado as an appetizer. It was good, but had too much meat - overwhelming the cheese that I was wanting. It was also very filling - even though we ate only about half. I got a combo plate and my husband got enchiladas. Both were spectacular, but we were so full from the appetizer we couldn’t eat much. It also came out really fast - before we had hardly even started the appetizer. Next time I would wait until after the appetizer to order the entree as we felt rushed and didn’t even order a second drink. The nightclub beat in the background was annoying for a Mexican restaurant, but low enough to not be offensive.
Overall, the food and drinks were excellent - high marks. Service and ambience were just ok.
