The Dal Rae is the Southern California restaurant where 1950s classics still reign. Lobster Thermidor, Pepper Steak, Chateaubriand, Prime Rib, Fresh Fish, Rack of Lamb, Steak Diane and Cherries Jubilee prepared tableside are among more than 100 items on a truly retro menu, complete with some of the city's best martinis. Opened in 1958, the Dal Rae has maintained its original atmosphere, too, right down to a piano bar with live entertainment. And, most important, it has preserved a tradition otherwise found only in private clubs -- knowing its customers by name and treating them like the most important people in the whole wide world. The Dal Rae is located close to the 5 freeway and half-way between LA County, Orange County and The Valley. It is a perfect location for business meetings or entertaining friends and family.

Been dining at Dal Rae for many years and today’s meals were amazing and we had the best service E-V-E-R thanks to our server, Brandon. I will be requesting him from now on. He made the best Grand Marnier Supreme we have ever had and his attentiveness was top notch.

I have been going to Dal Rae for over 30 years. The food is consistently good. The staff, however, is the reason to return. They bend over backwards to accommodate you. Even when people in your party are being difficult. lol

A favorite. Old school steak house, with great food and service. This restaurants food/quality blows away the big name Orange County Steak houses. Best value for the quality.

Last time we went to Dal Rae was before covid. Went with a nice group of friends and it was great! Food and service were still amazing, we all had great food and a lovely time. Will be going back soon.

Lunch with Flower Dawn is guaranteed to be a delight! Ahi on toast with avocado is my go to and is always perfectly prepared. I also have to give a shout out to Faustino...he really knows how to make customers feel special.

Sea bass is delicious and steaks are perfect! Caesar salad for two (dinner, not lunch) is prepared table side and a great show! Espresso martini is a favorite! Our server, Javier, was excellent! Can’t wait to go back!
