When we arrived for our reservation, the hostess told us the kitchen was closed. I showed her my Open Table confirmation number and she mumbled some response about her “tablet” not working. She repeated that the kitchen was closed. We left and I see no reason to ever to back.

My dinner was awesome. I had a French Dip Sandwich with perfect Roll perfect Beef and perfect Dip. Every ingredient was prepared with care; taste, texture, presentation and freshness. I also had the wedge lettuce 'chopped'. My husband and I agreed it was the best; crunchy, fresh perfect amount of dressing. Wendy our wait person was so attentive anticipating every need. We were with family and Wendy just fit right in. The Daily Grill considers every aspect the dining experience; excellence is the result.

The servers seemed a bit confused. Then our server Wendy charged us for a Bottle of wine instead of a glass. Thank goodness we questioned why our bill was so high. Server/host Austin was fantastic.

Our experience was limited to inquiring of our server (who ignored us for over five minutes after being seated) about the Wednesday night pork chop special promoted on a sign outside the entrance. He knew nothing about it. He then came back and said it wasn’t offered. He gave us the Restaurant Week menu instead. We walked out. The hostess merely said she was sorry. We’ll never go back to Daily Grill.

Decent food and service, but nothing special. Server failed to inform us of the Wednesday special (blackberry pork chop at reduced price). Chicken pot pie is huge and very good.
