    We had Taylor serve us and he was terrific! From oyster recommendations to making sure our birthday celebration was special. The food was outstanding and we would definitely recommend Cutters to everyone!

    The food was good but not super upscale. The location and ambience are amazing. The service was friendly and attentive but very slow. This has been my experience at this place for a few years every time I visit. I still keep coming back.

    While the food was okay, the service was incredibly slow and the carpet smelled unbelievably bad. It’s hard to understand why a restaurant doesn’t notice such horrible smells and do something to address it. Really disappointing.

    I have mixed reviews. We were seated a while before a server greeted us. However, the server was professional and courteous. When our entrées arrived, portions of my meal was not warm, which suggest it may have been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. (The server had to bring me a fresh side of potatoes that were heated. I didn’t bother sending back my seafood, which would’ve taken too long,) My wife ordered a salad, which did not come until after the meal. My entree actually very good in spite of it not being hot. When we received our bill, the server needed to make an adjustment in the price because we were up charged for the special menu. In spite of that the server did the best he could, and we did not fault him. Our overall experience was good not great.

    Cutters must have been unbelievably short staffed on Memorial Day for lunch because we have never had such terrible service. 4 of us were seated at a lovely table with a view. Then we waited for our waiter to bring menus. We ordered drinks and asked for water. It took us 20 minutes to get our drinks, & no water. We ordered food and that took almost half an hour. One of us ordered another drink and it took so long he told the waiter to cancel it. We all wanted another drink but did not because we knew it would take too long. A few minutes later his drink came. The drink was comped and they comped 2 desserts knowing the service was extremely slow. We were disappointed to say the least.

    The only complaint I would have is that despite having made a reservation and expressing my wife coming back home to visit for the first time in a decade, we were given a terrible table despite there being wonderful tables available right on the water that were never used our entire meal. We had a great view of trash cans and cargo ships. The server was excellent.
