Food choices were plentiful, all of our orders were delicious and the service was great. We were able to sit by the window and enjoy a leisurely dinner too catch up with family!

Food was slightly above average, our service was excellent. Had king and local crab, wedge salads, potatoes and sprouts. Nothing was bad, everything was good, but it wasn’t the best crab I’ve had.

We were seated on time for our reservation and immediately met by our server Josh. After getting us water we ordered a beer for my wife and a smokey old fashioned. Bummer part when the old fashioned arrived was that the restaurant was out of block ice. That makes for a watered down OF so very disappointing. Add to that Josh’s smoker wasn’t working well so after a few minutes of diligence trying to get it to work, I asked if I could just order a different drink. Josh agreed and suggested a regular OF without the smoke and that he preferred the regular OF as the one I ordered tended to be too sweet. He was spot on! Great OF on the 2nd try and he even brought me back the original in case I wanted to try it without cost. I did so try it but it was not a great drink so I didn’t consume it but I thought that was very classy of him to allow it since it was just going to be poured out anyway. Food! Wife ordered a cup of Clam Chowder and it was outstanding! Entrees were Fish and Chips and I had the Shrimp and garlic fettuccine!! Both entrees were delicious and perfectly prepared. Being from Dallas, we do not get fresh seafood like this and we thoroughly enjoyed Cutters food and service!! Thank you for a wonderful meal. God Bless.

We LOVE Cutters! The view is spectacular! We love the food and always get the crab/artichoke dip. It is one of the best! Everything is fresh and tasty. Service is fantastic! We love the ambiance as well. We are local (Bellevue), but I can see where it would be a wonderful place for visitors! Thank you ! We will be back!!

My husband and son loved their fish and chips. They also enjoyed their calamari miso appetizer. I had an excellent crab cake and we shared a huge piece of key lime pie. A lovely lunch at window table.

Dinner was for a special occasion. We arrived a few minutes early. Rather than suggest we sit at the bar, the hostess sat us by the restrooms. I reminded her that this was for a birthday, and asked about a table with a view, as this is why we selected the restaurant. 10 minutes later as we are being led to our table, the hostess asked us again if we are here for a special occasion, I remind her that we are, and she proceeds to sit us at a table with THE most limited water view, and that would be for one of the two of us as the other would be facing the wall all the way in the farthest corner of the restaurant. When the couple at the table next to us finished their meal and left before ours had even started we asked to be moved over and were accommodated. Though very limited this table had a somewhat better view. Our waiter was extremely accommodating, professional and nice. It was odd however, when we noticed several tables in the main restaurant section with no diners, and one table for four in the centre of the room with one of the best views had but one diner sitting at it, while a couple of other tables remained empty with dirty dinner plates sitting on them for quite some time. This restaurant is not inexpensive. My husband ordered the oysters and the sea bass which he felt was absolutely delicious. I ordered the seafood trio. Both the salmon and shrimp were overcooked, and the Caesar salad was drenched in dressing. The staff other than the hostess were very pleasant, but for the price I’m afraid I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The server was friendly and provided recommendations as we were visiting from out of town. The drinks were delicious as was the entree. We were fortunate enough to be sat near the window for a beautiful view of the ocean.

We've been going to Cutters for special meals and taken out of town guests here for 35+ years. It's in a beautiful setting, the service has always been excellent, and the food - although always on the pricey side - has been worth it. This most recent visit was the first time we really felt that the difficulty most Seattle restaurants were having in the post-COVID reality had hit Cutters. Portions were smaller, sauces were meager, and prices were higher. That being said, our friends from North Carolina had a grand time and loved it. One of them had never been to Seattle, never had King Salmon, and had never eaten a Dungeness crab. He was in heaven. And our server, Andra, was outstanding. She was kind, patient, and helpful guiding our friends through the menu, and she did yeoman's labor cracking that crab!
