    The restaurant was lovely but overpriced, with small portions. Oysters were almost $4 each. Across the street they were $2. Service was attentive but poor. One item never arrived. Two others had to be asked for twice. And, who ever heard of serving bread without butter or oil?

    The food and ambiance was great. Nice view of the harbor and our server was excellent (Eddie).

    We were a party of 4 with a tab well over $300. We were entertaining our friends from the east coast. Our female server, while pleasant, spoke to us in a very high pitched, phony voice as if we were grade schoolers. It was both annoying and condescending. While nearing the end of our main course (all of us still eating, but chatting) three different people tried to clear our plates within 2 to 3 minutes of one another. We finally had to be a bit curt with the last one in order to keep our plates and finish. And just as we took our second bite of dessert, our server dropped the check on the table - saying "no hurry". We did not ask for it, and may have wanted an after dinner drink. Clearly she (or they) were trying to turn the table as quickly as possible. What has happened to proper service etiquette, professionalism, staff communication and simply "reading the table". We were embarrassed and felt compelled to apologize to our guests as we had chosen the restaurant. Unfortunately, Cutters is not what it used to be. Food was good, but not remarkable for $50+/- per entree.

    We entered the restaurant and found an empty host stand. We waited about 7 minutes and then finally the host came. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait another 15 minutes to be seated. Our waiter was horrible. He took our drink order and then disappeared for 20 minutes. We then saw him taking drink orders for other tables. We finally flagged him down to ask him to take our dinner order. He was rude and slow. The food was mediocre at best. Save your money and go somewhere with more class. This place is not worth your energy or money!

    Went for happy hour and stayed for dinner. Really enjoyed a couple appetizers, a seafood dinner and cocktails. Good views of the park and the water! Excellent location and very friendly staff!

    The restaurant boasts a convenient location near Pike Place Market with beautiful views overlooking the water. While the setting was lovely, the service left something to be desired—it was quite difficult to get the attention of the staff. The food was enjoyable overall, though the crab pasta was somewhat disappointing due to the minimal amount of crab meat.

    We were first time visit to this restaurant. The mood in the restaurant was very good, and view of waterfront through the window was terrific! But kinds of wine had not been served by bottles was our little surprise. Anyway if you want to eat seafood, try this Cutters Crabhouse!
