As a visitor from out of town, I was looking for a place with a good view of the Seattle harbor, and found this place while on a morning walk. This was my first time to dine in this restaurant. Waiting time was good. We were seated within 5 minutes of arrival. Our server was nice and attentive. The menu was primarily seafood. As one from Maryland and a crab-lover, I thought I would try a crab dish. I made a mistake by ordering the open faced crab sandwich. It was very rich, and the sauce masked the taste of the crab. It felt like eating a cheesy grilled cheese sandwich with some artichoke in it. In fact, I could not recall tasting any of the crab. My friend did enjoy her mussels dish in red curry sauce. It was so tasty, she ordered a side of toasted bread to finish off the delicious sauce. I am not one to complain at all. Admittedly, next time, I should order crab by itself rather than as a sandwich. My friend and I did appreciate the good service we received at the restaurant. We were not quite at a table by the window, but we were close enough to enjoy the view.

We had a delicious seafood lunch with a view of the harbor. Everything was fresh and well prepared, and service was great. Would come back any time!

Servers were stretched thin. We were anxious for her. Bread is on request. Condiments were not enough. You can tell they’re trying to cut overhead. I was mischarged in the end. I ordered cod fish and chip and they charged me for halibut. I didn’t say anything.

They had plenty of tables open by the window with a view of puget, but chose to reserve those and sit me and my wife, along with another couple in some booths by the kitchen.

It was okay, but save your $150 for somewhere nicer. There are a lot of restaurants in Seattle!

Restaurant was good, but not one of my favorites. I always love to order calamari as an appetizer. Thiers was a bit too crunchy for my taste, didn't taste fresh. The Caesar salad was delicious, but the clams were the tiniest, and I mean tiniest, I ever had. The best part of the meal was the view.

Cutter's has a great ambiance and the service staff is A+. The food is good but at its price, it could be viewed as slightly overpriced. However, due to its prime location, with a great view of the bay and the ferris wheel, that should be expected. I would say, if you're looking for a good place to take friends and family to, to see what Seattle has to offer, Cutter's is a good place to go.

Only had limited Valentine’s Day menu the day after Valentine’s Day. Should have been mentioned when making the reservation. Chewy clams in chowder, surf and turf was ordered medium rare but after a long wait,arrived medium well. Crab stuffed shrimp in both my dinner and my wife’s were overwhelmed by garlic (typically a bad sign in seafood) and served near room temperature. By the time the wait staff asked, it was too late to bother complaining as neither of us wanted to wait for more of the same.
Etta’s is across the street and a far better option

The food was excellent! We had an awesome view of Elliot bay & the Big Wheel from our table. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the experience completely!

it was valentine’s day and the night was busy, waiter was great although my food was cold when it got to me. really good food! my boyfriend got the salmon and got full off it. overall good experience! will be back when less busy.

Seemed like it was everyone’s 1st day.
except the few that we recognized from past visits. Those veterans were running as fast as they could managing the new staff.

With all that considered they worked very hard. But unfortunately it did effect the overall quality of service.

We booked 6 weeks in advance because we knew we were traveling on President’s weekend. Our boys don’t eat seafood and I have a gluten and dairy allergy. I checked the menus to be sure that there was a steak that the boys could enjoy and did not worry about the gluten and dairy because restaurants of this caliber have never had a problem making plain fish veggies and sides for me. When we arrived to see there was a set Valentines menu, the host assured me we could order off menu to accommodate. While our server was kind and friendly, he made it seem very difficult to stray from the menu. The boys had steak but there was no substitution on the mashed potatoes or the veggie and the sauce that we asked for on the side was all over the meal..allergies not accommodated. The only starch option was mashed potato and the only veggie was Brussels sprouts. At 50$ plus per person I have always been able to be accommodated but in this restaurant it was not at all easy. Still did not happen, and it took a 3 hours while there were several tables still empty! The view was beautiful and the staff was nice but there was no making sure the customer had what they needed.

We were promptly seated and servers were good. Food took a long time to get to our table but manager apologized. One of our dishes was not prepared properly and management again apologized. Overall food quality mediocre. The management was kind enough to comp our meal and we appreciated the overall service. Most likely we would not go back simply because the food didn’t taste that good for the price we were paying. The thing is this restaurant with its location could be one of the best places in the city if their food was better. It’s not bad just not great either.

We arrived for our Valentine's Dinner and were seated. The wait staff and our server were excellent. Very attentive and everyone worked as a team and helped each-other out. Our drinks and apps came in a timely manner and the crab cakes and clam chowder were very good. Our dinner took over 1 1/2 hr to get. Given there were open tables, we didn't think that the kitchen should be that far behind. When we did receive our dinner, it was just "ok". The filet was not the quality we expected and it was bland. It was cooked to our liking. Knowing this was a busy holiday night to have dinner we did expect some delays, but due to a not full restaurant the time it took to get our "Ok" dinner was disappointing. For the price point the main course was not to expectations, but the rest was all very good. We should have just eaten the apps!
