We had the fish & chips, fettuccine, and crab louie and all was excellent. Adam was our server and he was extremely attentive and welcoming without hovering over our table of 5. The restaurant was crowded and hectic, but the staff took the time to show my mid-west guests a dungeness crab from the live tank. The view is breathtaking. Very nice adventure and evening for us!
Kitchen table is slow
Glorified Red Lobster with a view, extremely average food with a very expensive price tag. Absolutely no love or quality of presentation in the food. We actually sent our crap and salmon back, both were undercooked and the crap was horribly fishy and grayish in the middle. The manager was gracious enough to offer to replace the meals. Still would not recommend the quality of food to anybody.
I live in Seattle and it didn't shock me, but this is a very touristy restaurant. The food and service were good, but I won't be back as I feel there are better options out there.
The crab is always delicious. The entrees are elegantly plated and taste amazing. The dessert was an unassuming chocolate treat that was a great end to the night.
The steelhead and chowder were fantastic dishes. I passed the chowder around for tastes to my lunch mates and bowl was returned nearly empty. Great stuff.
Cutters is great. Wonderful food, outstanding service and a beautiful setting. The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. Everything about our experience at Cutters was (as always) first rate. Thanks for the fine food and the superior service.
Great service and willingness to ensure food allergies are handled properly
Wow what a let down. So many great meals this past weekend in town then what was a high rating turned out to be a bomb.
Waiter was not so great to chatty with others and not paying attention
I had their special combo and the salmon was bland and not cooked. Stuffed shrimp was dry and the scallops watery
Snow crab was just okay. Sushi roll was good.
Noise level loud got sat next to a group of ladies and they were so loud it ruined the ambience of the night.
My suggestions go to Etta’s across the street or Butcher’s Block.
The food was completely disappointing & very pricey! Two out of our group of six had ordered the the same dinner plate & the difference between them, were night and day. Dry salmon, overly dense scallops and sticky king crab. The location & views are amazing but the cost and quality must be addressed; as this was completely lackluster.
Long wait for service at the table. No table cloth on our table (all the others had a table cloth and paper covering). Unfortunately the waitress did not mention the menu change in the entree vegetable... Not appetizing with the protein and still had a few firm pearl couscous. The salmon was room temperature though the plate was warm. Also too many spines in the salmon. A substitute vegetable was suggested after the meal had been served by the waitress, or a dessert... A manager never approached the table to offer suggestions or even a price break on the meal. Unexpected consequence at what could have been a very nice evening meal. We will not return. An expensive meal should have better service especially for mistakes made by their staff. And, we didn't receive Open Table points... What was the point then in patronizing this restaurant?
Went here for our anniversary dinner to have king crab. We were seated quickly by the window, as requested. We received our drinks quickly. We ordered the hot crab dip and it was very good, very cheesy and full of crab. We ordered king crab legs and the filet Oscar for dinner. The crab legs were very disappointing. They were small and just the arms and claws, no legs. We asked one of the waiters who stopped by if they are normally this small and he said that it didn't even look like we received a full pound. For the price, we were expecting some good sized legs. The filet Oscar was cooked medium rare, how I requested but it was very burned and it ruined the taste. The potatoes were very good, probably my favorite part. The asparagus was also burned. The béarnaise sauce was flavorless. We enjoyed our time, but the food sucked.
I thought the triple seafood dish was spectacular and the view is superb. Staff were great, as was the service. Thought it would be a bit touristy given its proximity to Pike Place Market but it was very nice. Upscale prices but the crab, fish and other items were very good.
We had a beautiful view of the water and it was a gorgeous day. Next time, all I need to order is the Dungeness crab cocktail and something small. Loved the cocktail sauce and the crab. Wonderful creme brûlée for dessert.
Our waiter was excellent so the service was top-notch. The food was great. We all ordered different dishes and they were all great.
Food was lukewarm. Ridiculously expensive considering the portion size. Our bill was $140 for two entrees, two glasses of wine and one very mediocre creme brûlée.
Great dinner and reasonable prices for water view restaurant. Food and drinks were both great and our server was fantastic
Great food and great view, we were able to get a spot on relatively short notice on a Friday night. The server was very busy with multiple tables, took a long time to bring food and appetizers, and forgot some drinks. It was a great enough place that I would give it another try, probably just having an off night.
Our server Nora was helpful, friendly and went above and beyond.
Excellent excellent excellent!!!!
The meal was ok, not great. Waiter was attentive but overall service was a little slow.
I loved this place. Great view and fantastic food. The service was probably the best I had in Seattle.
Great Seafood dinner and wonderful Blackberry lemon drops. Loved our server.
Very good food and excellent view of the sound. Ask for Hank when you’re there—he was the best waiter!!!
Everything was good, requested bottle of wine on menu they were out and not very flexible of offering a selection at the same level for similar pricing.
The place was remodeled and the interior is sleek with wide windows and an amazing view of the water. The service is welcoming and the fish and chips were delicious!
Our server Hank was awesome. We enjoyed our dinner very much. The whole mission was to get some good crab experience for my friend Olivia who was visiting from out of state and mission accomplished! She was so happy and satisfied and I always love the crab here. Also wonderful Creme Brûlée oh my gosh.
We were a bit disappointed the crab at the local crab house was not local, but that might have been due to the season. Otherwise the food was excellent, if a bit pricey. I would definitely consider coming back but might look for a place that advertised local fresh seafood.
We were celebrating our 44th anniversary and were from out of town pre-cruise! We chose this restaurant for seafood and location! First of all, we had a reservation for 6:15 and arrived at 6:00... they sat several parties before us that were walk ins and when questioned why we had not been seated were told they were waiting for closer to our reservation time! We ordered the crab stuffed prawns... no crab was detected and the prawn meat was so tough you couldn’t pick it out of the shell! We give the service rating very good because our server was excellent and immediately reported our complaints! They brought another plate and comped the meal (which was 1 out of 3 ordered)! We should have listened to the local resident who said it was a horrible restaurant!
The food was great! Nice fresh seafood and we sat with a view of the water. Our waiter Adam was fantastic. Food was tasty, but not over kill with butter.
Excellent service! Excellent food. We were celebrating my best friend's 50 birthday. Our server was attentive and very sweet. She suggested we try the Watermelon Cosmopolitan. It was superb.
A wonderful dining experience on the Seattle waterfront.
Buen lugar excelente vista
Was looking forward to having great dinner from reviews I had read. Made reservations for my wife’s birthday and requested a table with the view of the Sound. When we showed up I asked about a table with a view of the Sound. I was told those tables were reserved. Once we were at our table, no later than 10 minutes, a couple that was seated in a table behind us, They were approached by what I assume was the manager and offered a table next to the window with the view of the Puget Sound. They were so excited and I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
After we got our food, out waiter never came back to ask how our meal was or to even refill drinks. The only time he showed up was to bring the check.
Food was dissatisfying for the price.
Won’t be back.
My two nephews graduation from high school
We had a reservation for 8, and asked at the last minute to change it to 12. The maitre d was spectacular - very accommodating and lovely to work with. We asked for table with a view, being from the landlocked states of Idaho, Nevada and Montana, and he put us at a corner table with an incredible view of the water. Our waiter was equally wonderful. Food and drinks were very good; we will definitely go back to Cutters!
Very good! Beautiful to sit and have the great view of the sound. Great seafood!
Food was not that great. Beef tenderloin was over cooked as was the Salmon. Maybe just an off night, food is usually very good.
Food was ordinary really. Service was not bad and we were constantly attended to and asked if we were ok.
