   Cuisine was recommended by a former colleague of owner Chef Paul. It was the perfect choice to celebrate my sisters 65th birthday, who by the way is a strict Vegan. Our server Chris along with Chef Paul and the rest of the staff made the a memorable and a lasting impression on her and the rest of the non vegans. Another hidden gem in the city of Detroit. We will be returning.

   Horrible service!. We made the reservation and were sat on time. After being seated, 30 minutes went by and we were never greeted by our server!. Nobody took our drink order, no bread plate, etc. We left without having dinnerand won't be back. Very disappointed!

   Food is delicious. Drinks are overpriced for what you get (standard cocktail, not fresh juices or special liquors or "craft"). Service is good. Dessert came cold (molten lava cake) and tasted like it had been sitting on a counter all day, but server replaced the cold dessert. Quiet atmosphere.

   Classic Fine Dining. My wife and I had dinner at Cuisine, her first time, my first time since the early '00s, when it was a new restaurant. Hadn't been back mostly because of all the new places in town and didn't realize it was still open. Well it is, and it is putting out phenomenal, classic French haute-cuisine. We started with the charcuterie which is one of the best I've had. It included three different house made pates and four other cured meats that were all delicious. The portion was quite large and afterward my wife and I both agreed that that and a salad would make a nice meal for the two of us. We had the Lyonnaisse salad which had a sous-vide egg, bacon, and breaded chevre which was good and as described but probably a little high in proteins for me in retrospect. For our mains, she had the seafood sampler, and I had the "Duck Ham." The seafood sampler comprised of four amuse-bouches, one shrimp, one miniature crab cake, one toast with Tuna Tartare, and one shot of Lobster Bisque (minus the lobster). Everything was good, but the portion was tiny, not really a great value, but good if you are on a diet. The Duck Ham was cured duck breast on mushroom risotto with foie-gras. It tied with the charcuterie as the best thing of the night, really, really, good. I highly recommend this restaurant that is serving more classic style fine dining, in comparison to the newer small plate style that is popular. I would also recommend it for someone who has hearing issues as it was quiet. Also, as a plus, it is directly across the street from the Fisher Theater.

   Not only did we have great cocktails, fine service and good food; but I accidentally left my credit card at the restaurant and they tracked me down from my reservation phone number and called me to tell me they found my card!

    Arrived for our reservation. We were seated by the bar. We sat there for about 15 minutes and no one came over. Finally, we looked at each other, and said let's go somewhere else. We left. On the way out, the hostess who sat us 15 minutes earlier just said "have a nice evening."
